  • Question: Where did I get rubber bands that big and what are they used for?

  • Answer:The bands were donated to me from 2 companies.

The first is Alliance Rubber in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The bands they donated are called Pallet Bands. They are used in shipping big stuff like furniture and help keep the protective wrapping on stuff.

The second Company is Textrip/Stretchwell Inc. In Pennsylvania. This company provided the colorful band on the outer layer of the ball. These bands are called Fitness Bands and they are used during fitness and rehabilitation.

  • Question: How do I start a rubber band ball and how do I keep it round?
  • Answer: Putting something in the middle is cheating! Take one thick rubber band and tie it in a knot. Begin wrapping other bands around it. The ball will look retarded until it reaches the size of a golf ball. Keeping it round is easy. Just keep putting bands over flat spots or bare spots.
