      Critics Consensus

The rich colors, sweet songs, adorable mice and endearing (if suffering) heroine make Cinderella a nostalgically lovely charmer.

João S Filme que te surprende e não é muito previsível, você vai assitir pensando que só vão contar oque você já sabe da história, mas ele traz uma segunda trama com os animais que são bem divertidas Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/24 Full Review Mr G To me Cinderella is the loveliest animated movie for eternal..😢❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/21/24 Full Review Alec B They lean a little too heavily on the animal characters, something that works in other movies because the human counterparts are better developed but here it just gets tiresome. Fortunately Lady Tremaine is one of Disney's better villains and the score is quite good. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/24 Full Review Matthew M I recently rewatched this movie for the first time as an adult and I absolutely loved it. This is my second favourite princess movie and I adore Cinderella. I'm not usually a fan of the animal sidekicks in Disney movies but the mice are just so loveable and entertaining. They aren't overly silly and it's nice to see how they care about Cinderella. The stepmother is such a chilling and memorable villain too. The scene where Cinderella runs away from the palace is one of my favourite Disney scenes ever. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/05/23 Full Review Chynna B The movie is everything you would expect it to be. There are no twists or anything that really stands out. Cinderella has more agency than Aurora. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/26/23 Full Review Ra C O filme é maravilhoso, é um dos meus filmes preferidos, eu amo esse filme!!! Bob Thomas Associated Press Cinderella is Walt Disney at his best. That means delight for the kids of the world and their worried parents, too. Jul 25, 2019 Full Review Nell Minow Common Sense Media Sweet fairy tale classic for little princesses. Rated: 5/5 Dec 22, 2010 Full Review Empire Magazine Yes, it's beautiful, and yes, it's classic. But it's also got rather a bland pair of lead characters. That said, it's still enjoyable family entertainment, and shall remain forever so. Rated: 4/5 Nov 3, 2009 Full Review Carson Timar ButteredPopcorn Coming out of the roughest period in the studio's history, Cinderella might be a simple feature but remains an effective return to the princess narrative. Oct 15, 2023 Full Review Sean Axmaker Stream on Demand This bright, lively little musical fairy tale is from the second half of Disney’s classic animation period... it has a bright, clean style, vivid images, and strong storytelling. Sep 24, 2023 Full Review Allison Rose FlickDirect Because Cinderella was painstakingly hand drawn and filmed (almost 75 years ago), any version will have some level of graininess to it but the 4K transfer is the best this film has ever looked.
