The updated Bacterial Priority Pathogens List features 15 families of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. To guide the development of new treatments to prevent #AntimicrobialResistance, it sorts them into priorities: 🛑 Critical priority pathogens present major global threats because of the high amount of death and suffering they cause, together with their ability to resist most available treatments and spread resistance to other bacteria. 💢 High priority pathogens pose a particular challenge in low- and middle-income countries 🔶 Medium priority pathogens are particularly dangerous for babies and older populations Find out more: https://bit.ly/4apqHoQ
