WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.13.0.73: what’s new?
WhatsApp has just submitted a new update through the TestFlight beta Program, bringing the version up to 22.13.0.73. The version marked within WhatsApp Settings is 2.22.13.73.
What’s new in this update? WhatsApp is releasing a new feature to beta testers to let them filter their unread chats by using a filter button!

Two weeks ago, WhatsApp has released a new update for the Desktop beta app on Windows and macOS, bringing the ability to filter unread chats to users. The same feature has also been released on WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.13.14 last week.
An option to filter unread chats was available for business accounts in January, and WhatsApp was already planning to offer it to standard WhatsApp accounts in the future. Today, WhatsApp is rolling out the new filter button after installing the latest update from TestFlight today!
As you can see in this screenshot, WhatsApp is now introducing a new filter button placed next to the search bar, and it looks very similar to the one implemented on WhatsApp Desktop beta. When you use the new unread chat filter, WhatsApp will automatically list all your unread chats, so it is now easier to manage them. You can easily clear the filter by tapping the filter button again or the label “Clear filter”. In addition, when the filter is enabled and you use the search bar, only messages from unread chats will show up in the results.
WhatsApp is rolling out this feature to some beta testers today, and more activations are planned over the coming weeks.
