ABIGAIL is now in theaters and last summer I travelled to Ireland with Universal Pictures to visit the set and meet the all-star cast and crew of the latest monster horror film from the directing duo Radio Silence (Scream, Ready of Not). In between touring the Guinness Storehouse and the Jameson Bow St. Distillery, we looked at the books Bram Stoker checked out at Marsh's Library in his research for Dracula and spent two days watching the crew at work shooting Abigail at the Glenmaroon House in Dublin - and old, rundown mansion where the movie takes place. The experience was a unique one and Abigail is easily the most gory, and yet most humorous movie, from the team yet. What a wonderful evening we had at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles for the Oscars! While Screen Rant had a presence in the press room this year for the 2024 Academy Awards, we had multiple teams working remotely to cover Hollywood's biggest awards show!
