      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

While Ben Affleck fits the role and the story is sporadically interesting, Daredevil is ultimately a dull, brooding origin story that fails to bring anything new to the genre.

Joseph Tutorials my first time watching this movie while seeing the daredevil show yeah the show it's really good but the movie but good through out i didn't like kingin or the dialogue i liked everything else i like how goofy this movie was it made it very fun for me and ben alfeck as daredevil ain't bad but when he's matt not the greatest but overall fun movie 83% Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/03/24 Full Review Ben V Seeing the world on fire does get tiresome in this one of maybe too many daredevil series, whichever brought down connectivity for production. I was disappointed to see the vigilante get clingy to his career. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/22/24 Full Review Audience Member At one point, Colin Farrell with a target engraved on his forehead, flicks a peanut at an airplane seat, it then ricochets off and lands in an old lady's throat and kills her by asphyxiation. [3/10] Jon Favreau was the real superhero of this movie Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review Cheese R The Directors cut version is a great movie! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/24 Full Review weezerfan0 0 OKAY LISTEN. this is it. this is what you've been looking for. if iron man didn't tickle your fancy this certainly probably will. i don't like the marvel universe and neither does my niece. Ben afflect is back and blind and grabs trucks. Bullseye is so much a good villain and he never misses. this movie put me ‘in the zone' and yea. 2 stars Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/24 Full Review Ricky C As others have mentioned, the directors cut version is much better and to me, is a must watch if you're a superhero fan. Namrata Joshi Outlook Daredevil has a brooding dark and dank air about it, much like Batman. That's about the only element that lends the movie any character. Rated: 1/4 Jan 4, 2019 Full Review Alexander Walker London Evening Standard From start to finish, the film is death-ridden and employs overamplified sound to pump up its many pornographic images. Dec 14, 2017 Full Review Joe Morgenstern Wall Street Journal It isn't a great film, or even a greatly original one. Still, it has many grace notes, and interesting oddities. Jul 14, 2015 Full Review Justin Brown Medium Popcorn This was brutal to get through...I was in an utter state of confusion during the entire film. Rated: 1/5 Jul 24, 2023 Full Review Brandon Collins Medium Popcorn Tonally it is all over the place and barely makes any logical sense; even with the ordinary stuff. The performances were coo coo bananas. Rated: 1/5 Jul 24, 2023 Full Review Leigh Paatsch Herald Sun (Australia) An event pic that is big, brassy and bullying enough to make you forget how little of it is actually making sense.
