Pixar and Walt Disney's Coco earned another $10.4 million in Mexico, going up a jaw-dropping 12% in its second weekend and bringing its total to $27.6m. The animated feature, which opens around the world over Thanksgiving weekend, went early in Mexico for obvious reasons and has already become the fastest ten-day grosser ever for an animated feature in Mexico, as well as the biggest new IP animated release ever in said territory. So yeah, this will be one to keep an eye on over the Thanksgiving weekend as we dissect Thor and Justice League and predict The Last Jedi.

In other overseas news, Blade Runner 2049 earned another $4.9 million in 61 overseas markets, including 1.1m (-43%) in its second weekend in Japan. The Sony/Alcon Entertainment release, which is distributed domestically via Warner Bros./Time Warner Inc, has earned $154.5m overseas and $85.456m in North America for a not-good-enough $239.9m global cume. Speaking of "not good enough," WB and Skydance's $120m Geostorm has thus-far earned $153.6m overseas and $28.7m domestic for a $182m global cume. It'll top $200m worldwide, which may qualify as a moral victory.

And back to domestic news, Jigsaw earned $6.7 million (-59%) in its second weekend, which is the best hold for a Saw movie since Saw III (-56%) back in 2006. With $28.8m in ten days, it won't be as big as the rest of the Saw sequels (save for Saw VI). But Lionsgate may not be able to resist a $40m total for a $10m movie, especially if it performs at least as well overseas. Boo 2!: A Madea Halloween earned $4.6m (-56%) in its third weekend for a $42.9m 17-day total. It's essentially playing like a regular Tyler Perry movie, which means a $50m+ domestic total.

Happy Death Day earned $2.815 million (-45%) in its fourth weekend for a $52.9m domestic and $78.3m worldwide cume. That's fine-and-dandy for Blumhouse's $5m slasher caper. Universal/Comcast Corp.'s Thank You For Your Service earned $2.26m (-40%) in weekend two for a $7.355m ten-day domestic cume. Legs aside, this one is finished. Ditto Sony's Only the Brave, which earned another $1.91m (-45%) third weekend and tragic $15.29m 17-day total. Let There Be Light had a fine hold, expanding to 641 screens and around  $1.7m (-1%) second weekend for a $4.1m ten-day total. That's not huge, but I imagine this Sean Hannity-produced/Kevin Sorbo-directed faith-based drama was pretty cheap.

The Foreigner grossed $1.55 million (-56%) this weekend for a $31.9m 24-day total, putting it just under the $32m domestic gross of Rumble in the Bronx. The Jackie Chan/Pierce Brosnan thriller has $120m worldwide thus far on a $35m budget, which is close to the $132m global cume of Tom Cruise's $50m American Made. George Clooney's Suburbicon grossed $1.16m (-59%) for a ghastly $5.1m ten-day cume. The Florida Project will have around $3m by the end of the weekend, while Killing of a Sacred Deer will have $908k by the end of its third weekend in limited release. Finally, My Little Pony crossed the $20m mark in domestic box office while The Snowman will end its third weekend with $6.5m domestic and $34m worldwide.

If Kingsman: The Golden Circle hasn't crossed $400 million worldwide yet (it's at $382m as of last weekend), it's pretty darn close. And that's it for this exciting weekend! Next weekend sees Paramount/Viacom Inc.'s Daddy's Home 2 and 20th Century Fox's Murder on the Orient Express. Can Fox and Paramount get adults to go to the theaters to see their adult movies or is everyone just going to flock to Thor: Ragnarok? To be fair, Thor: Ragnarok is better than a number of the so-called adult movies out there (cough-Suburbicon-cough), so it's a complicated situation.
