In the Gotham City of the future, an older Bruce Wayne (Kevin Conroy) trains a college student, Terry McGinnis (Will Friedle), to replace him as Batman. Meanwhile, the Joker (Mark Hamill) has re-emerged as the leader of the Jokerz, a gang inspired by their evil hero, who was previously thought to be dead. Sin dudas es una maravillosa cinta que cumple con todo una historia entretenida,oscura ,con giros de la trama impredecibles ,historia iconica y memorable con un gran homenaje a el clásico batman ,joker es brutalmente aterrador mark hamill es fantástico como el joker así sea solo su voz ,una animación sólidamente bella.

Whether you are a kid or an adult, watching this is in 2003 or 2023, the overall result will be the same. This is one of THE best Batman animated movies of all time that holds up extremely well for over 20 years. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Batman Beyond must tackle the Batman's arch enemy The Joker and by doing so must dig through the dark past of Batman's former sidekicks. Really enjoyed the story of this one add to that the stellar voice work of Mark Hamill's Joker makes this a very fun watch.

With great animation, an intriguing mystery, Mark Hamill at his best in the role of the titular antagonist, a catchy soundtrack and not being afraid to get rather dark (to the point that current events forced the crew to tone things down...not sure how much of it truly worked in that context...this review focuses on the unedited version only), Return of the Joker is a thrilling action-packed DTV superhero film that, much like Mask of the Phantasm before it, still works as a stand-alone film, even if you've never seen a single episode of Batman Beyond. Damn, I really should consider actually watching the DCAU shows one day.
