Spoiler Clout Example

I tried out for mathematics at UTexas, Austin. Some of the stuff they made us do was so tedious and intricate that sample problems were welcomed as hawsers attaching the theories to practical reality. Few have read my 2007 Live and Let Live causality analysis between small party spoiler vote clout and changes in laws and Amendments to the Constitution.(link) Fewer still understand the relationship, despite the graphs, pictures and arrows and audio recording of that simplest of practical expositions. But persistence pays, so here goes another example of how small party planks plus a tiny yet persistent percentage of spoiler votes and minor offices leveraged MAJOR changes in the Constitution and laws of the nation and its States. Changing laws with votes is WINNING.

After the People’s Party–advocating Communist platform plank 2–got 9% of the vote in 1892, both halves of the entrenched Kleptocracy struggled to block further penetration of alien ideology. Republicans enjoyed power to impose prohibitive tariffs and invade foreign lands. Their ranks swelled with pietistic altruists eager to burn books and put women and their doctors on chain-gangs for mentioning human reproductive functions in print. Democrats had lost their slaves, resorted to terror to successfully stop freedpeople from casting votes, but accomplished little else. It was among failed agrarians and northern collectivists that German communism found fertile urban and agrarian ground in Postbellum America, so the People’s Party grafted itself onto the Democrats.

Business and banking had crumbled from Comstock‘s 1873 through late 1879, crashed again 1889-1884 and recovered somewhat during Grover Cleveland’s victory over sumptuary laws. Population and silver production increased faster than gold, so money was tight; teetotalers blamed liquor and elected Benjamin Harrison (R).(link) Dry and Looter parties each won over 5 times the vote difference between the entrenched parties when Cleveland won again in 1892, with the Populists getting 9% of the vote and helping wreck the economy with an income tax. Republican dry fanatics and gold bugs doubled down and got McKinley elected. It became clear during Eugene Victor Debs’ early career that elections were decided by Prohibition Party and Populist-Socialist-Marxist spoiler votes–much like today. Both entrenched Kleptocracy parties acted to keep insurgents from upsetting their plans with outcome-shuffling spoiler votes–just like today. Here’s how it played out in terms of increasing vote share for Socialist Eugene Victor Debs.

To break the impasse, small partisans demanded equal suffrage for men and women. They went after the sneaky insertion of “male” into the 14th Amendment, which poisoned the 13th and 15th as far as women were concerned. Women’s Suffrage activists managed to bring the sidelined half of the adult population into the affray as volunteers and boosters. Some entrenched State parties copied the plank. But Prohibitionists and Socialists (it’s hard to discover which) wuz there fustest with the mostest and their vote share bloomed anew. Still, the number of voters hardly changed from 1900 to 1912, thanks to entrenched Kleptocracy strategies to strangle upstarts in the crib. Debs did not run in the wartime election, in which all communistic parties together got less than his 1912 vote tally. But the 19th Amendment was gaining State ratifications in the summer of 1919.

Amid the booming population, the socialist vote fast outstripped the entrenched “communism of pelf” as war and 19th Amendment agitation slipstreamed the communist income tax back into action while jerking the dentures out of male politicians’ privilege of electing U.S. senators. Women voters no longer needed the Socialists in 1920. Guided by Pauline Sabine, women would in 1932 save the nation from the accelerating collapse brought on by fanatical enforcement of the Harrison and Volstead prohibition laws. After Franklin Roosevelt got alcohol bans repealed, many Republicans supported the National Socialist dictator Herbert Hoover’s policies of July 1931 had brought to power Over There in Germany. For 20 more years, few even tried to elect a Republican prohibitionist to the Executive Mansion.

Lincoln’s Republican Party died with him, replaced by Comstockist book-burning societies. Voters saw through this and reacted, but Comstock “republicans” still held the troops with bayonets and power to stop citizens from voting. The 13th Amendment was recast by White Supreme male judges to only extend suffrage to some black males. Compare that to what was written after the war to Save the Customs Union:

14A: All persons born or naturalized in the United States… are citizens of the United States and of the State.
15A: The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.
By leaving out SEX, the door was left open for men with guns and billy clubs to ramrod women into prison for daring to vote or run for office.(link) With disenfranchisement legitimized by the White Supreme Court, it was but a small step to expand that to racial collectivist Jim Crow legislation and laws denying suffrage to ANYONE who dared to stand up to a superstitious usurpation imposed at gunpoint. The trick was to use definitions to finish chiseling away the antislavery amendment and restoring the original prewar language in Article Four, Section Two, Clause Three. That’s the part that tells U.S. Marshals to help Slave States and their bounty hunters to hunt down fugitives from enslavement, defined as Service or Labor.

Bodily ejecting uppity blacks and females from polling booths was promptly redefined as “not really” disenfranchisement. Comstock Laws lustily redefined writings as “disloyal” or as “obscenity.”(link) Soon, enslaving youth into the trenches of the World War to Enforce the Hague Opium Convention was redefined as “not really” slavery. Laws enacted at China’s request redefined trade and production as “traffic” to create victimless “crime.”(link)

By the time the Harrison Act and Constitutional Amendment defining potions, wineries and breweries as “traffic” had wrecked the economy, addictive narcotics, non-habit-forming stimulants and harmless hemp had replaced much of the recreational market. Republican attempts to again export sumptuary coercion to drug-exporting Germany backfired as before. Big Pharma subsidized Christian National Socialism and got Adolf Hitler installed as Chancellor of the Reich. This was good? (link)

Most of Prohibition was replaced by FDR and New Deal Reconstruction. Brewers and Distillers reinvested profits by hiring politicians and advertisers to declare “Reefer Madness” the new national emergency. This was replacement for the “Cocaine Negroes” emergency used in 1914 to secure passage of Francis Harrison’s “Trade Restrictions Act.” Madness gave the pretext in 1936 for again shrieking “traffic” and hauling out the pistols, manacles and truncheons to “do something” about that unfair competition. Not for long would plant leaves kick sand in poor little Beelzebubba’s beer!

So after thousands of man-years of prison terms for youth, felony plant leaf laws keep those same skeptical people from voting a half-century after the Nixon-Reagan war on Woodstock Nation. Observe that the Beatles-albums-burning Solid South that voted for George Wallace is where prohibitionism replaces democracy with jail cells. Good Reading: The War Below: The Story of Three Submarines That Battled Japan, by James Scott.(link) One of the facts disclosed is how easily submarines smuggled cargo–everything from weapons, fuel, ammunition, explosives, men and materiél–past armed and eager enemy blockades. Nor was this news in 1916, when the Deutschland carried a hefty load of goods to the neutral United States in 1916. It makes you wonder about how Rum Row turned a profit 12 miles off the coast during Prohibition. After all, 97% of U.S: alcohol demand was met by brewing and distilling corn sugar. Only 3% in all could have come from Canada, Mexico and Rum Row ships–but what if those floating contraband stores were also selling drugs the government made disappear in 1914.  If so, how did those supplies arrive?

Who started MAGA?

This is a bilingual joke for Brazilians. It’s the advice a Bolsonaro vandal took literally on a table in the smashed up Supreme Court building two years after the MAGAt attacks on Congress.

For Americans there is less of a laughing matter involved. Tucked away in the Fourteenth Amendment, the one beginning with “All persons born…” is this pearl within an oyster:

But neither the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void.

When the perpetrators of January 6 “We Wuz Robbed” vandalism of tax-maintained buildings are rounded up and tried, did that entitle them to “a free lawyer” at the expense of a State or Federal Government? The Fourteenth Amendment literally says no. Calvin Coolidge denied the validity of any law or statute contradicting the explicit terms of the Constitution. Why should frustrated girl-bulliers get government-funded defense lawyers after attacking and vandalizing the building in which their Fuhrer was defeated in the electoral vote count after having been defeated a second time in the popular vote count? Coolidge questioned this:

“For any part of our inhabitants to observe such parts of the Constitution as they like, while disregarding others is a doctrine that would break down all protection of life and property and destroy the American system of ordered liberty.” [Calvin Coolidge message to Congress, December 7, 1926]

In a meeting 02NOV1923 with reporters Coolidge was as adamant about giving in to England’s protests about warships and ocean liners being confiscated over grog rations and restaurant bars and wine lists. Rum Row, the floating Free Trade Zone for liquor and drugs was at the time being forced from three miles to twelve miles offshore.

PRESS: Mr. President, some of the editorial writers seem to think that the proposed treaty would contravene the Constitution–not the Volstead Law, but the Constitution itself. Do you believe it within the power of the government to make a treaty that would contravene the Constitution itself?
PRESIDENT COOLIDGE: Of course not. The only power the government has to make a treaty comes from the Constitution, and there wouldn’t be any question about it, for any treaty that might be made, that was contrary to the provisions of the Constitution, would be absolutely void.

Vandals interfering in elections with violent criminal mischief might easily NOT be entitled to reach into your pocket or mine to pay off defense attorneys. What would the MAGAts packing the Supreme Court say to that?

Women Tank Tesla

This 5-yr Tesla stock chart shows that on 05NOV2021, the day word of MAGA Supreme Court plans to look at the Texas Senate Bill 8 Abortion Ban hit The Texas Tribune, Tesla stock went from rising to falling.(link) Tesla Tanking in Trading is now WAY too obvious for anyone to ignore.(link) What happened?

My theory is a boycott. The Republican party platform has since 1976 called for a constitutional amendment to again strip women of individual rights upon conception. Before the Civil War, forced sex and childbirth were routine for black women held under Southern slavery. (link) For five decades I have voted against Republican candidates and refused to buy products their abettors sell. Boycotting is a way to keep economic power from being spent on coercive political power. Nor is this anything new in political economy.(link) The Boston Tea Party was a boycott. Nations have prohibition laws because China boycotted the US back in 1905 for that purpose (not as futile retaliation for the renewed Geary Act). WW1 was caused in part by revolutionary China successfully closing its ports to opium dumping in 1911-12, causing a glut in the Balkans.

Pushback against Republican Party prohibitionism and Jew-baiting automakers also included boycotts. In June 1929, Henry Ford discussed prohibition with President Hoover, then stepped in front of the White House to announce: “Prohibition is here to stay. Absolute enforcement must come. Nobody wants to fly with a drunken aviator.” Ford claimed the dry law made high wages possible in mid-Depression 1931, after other countries withdrew money and sold off U.S. stocks to avoid taxes on drug profits. Less than a month later, on 02MAY1931 the NYT reported that “Milwaukee county officials refuse to buy Fords because of Henry Ford’s dry stand.” So why would women–and libertarian-minded men who believe women have inalienable individual rights–hesitate to boycott an automaker allied with Republican efforts to have women enslaved on conception?

People again boycotted Fords after Hitler praised Henry in Mein Kampf and Nazis pinned a medal on his chest for his collaboration.(link) Musk is photographed licking the blacking off of Trump’s shoes before and after the MAGA court overturned the Libertarian plank that was ROE.(link) Lately, as Argentina’s anarco-fascist imitation “libertarian” (link) and Brazil’s ousted christiano-fascist are photographed pumping Elon Musk’s hand, why the surprise that women of all colors are boycotting re-enslavement by wielding The Almighty Dollar? (link)

Think about it. Tesla stockholders are clearly experiencing a dawning of comprehension! Investers suddenly understand the sunk investment fallacy, are dropping those Tesla stock anvils to the bottom of the Lake of Losses and swimming ashore.(link)

Libertarian Spoiler votes work a lot like boycotts where results matter. This is why Republicans and German descendants of National Socialist billionaires lavishly funded a hostile takeover of the Libertarian Party by the Alabama-based Mises Institute with their infiltrated girl-bullier caucus. Here’s a link to a typical Mises article postulating that it’s much better for Ku-klux States to strip women of individual rights than for federal courts to recognize pregnant women as individuals and enforce their Thirteenth and Fourteenth Amendment rights.(link)

The MISES article bragging about policies imported from Hitler’s Austria appeared a year almost to the day after the MAGA-packed Court began reassessing whether women can be forced at gunpoint into involuntary reproductive labor.(link) Many of those fortunes were amassed precisely by stripping Jews–male and female alike–of individual rights, forcing them to labor and retiring them at death camps. Elon might have been the American version of Quandt, Krupp or von Finck.(link) Too bad he and his stockholders hitched their wagon to the Trump, Bolsonaro, Milei and von Mises (link) versions of resurgent pronatalist Comstockism.(link)

Every Libertarian Vote Counts

In 1968, every single presidential vote was wasted, in the sense that it furthered increased coercion. Voting Republican or George Wallace’s “American” Party meant to enslave and shoot kids here (over plant leaves) and bomb slave kids elsewhere. The communists (socialists, socialist labor, etc parties) wanted higher taxes and more government coercion than even the Entrenched Kleptocracy. The Prohibition party wanted men with guns to ban all enjoyable substances, burn books and enslave young women. There was a Peace and Freedom party on the ballot in a couple of places. Those were mostly looters impersonating hepcats and demanding coercive economic laws. The word “repeal” is generally avoided among such parties the same way “enforce” is parroted.(link)

Reason was circulated as mimeographed sheets, Stranger in a Strange Land had just turned seven and The Moon is a Harsh Mistress was as distressing to Christian National Socialism as it was to East German Communism. Nobody got addicted to and nobody died of overdoses from the non-toxic psychedelics available everywhere. We all argued about Atlas Shrugged, not The Constitution. Suddenly George Wallace got the Democratic Solid South’s electoral votes, and Richard Nixon–the guy who sued Texas after losing to JFK–was declared President. That was what losing felt like.

Asylum Instructions in Portuguese

Asylum forms are about a clear as tax forms, especially if they are in the “wrong” language. To make them easier I translated instructions for the i-589 form Brazilians have to fill out in English in order to apply for asylum. With interruptions and postponements it took me two years to translate the instruction form and get it edited and proofread by two professional colleagues. So it is not a surprise that many folks are unable to fill in all the answers in English within the one-year deadline for filing for asylum. The instructions translated into Portuguese cost one dollar.(link)

Most Americans have no idea what the asylum requirements are for Brazil. So naturally most Brazilians caught without papers in the USA also have no real understanding of who can benefit from these forms, nor when nor why. Lots of time is taken up explaining that political asylum is not about jealous boyfriends or angry loansharks, but rather, about Race, Creed, Color, Cohort or Party. Courts also reinterpret things to say something different from what the law looks like it says.

The 15th Amendment says “The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color or previous condition of servitude.” The previous Amendment, the 14th, states that “All persons born” in the USA are citizens. Women therefore concluded that THEY could vote as of late March 1870. So Victoria Woodhull(link) ran for President in 1872 and Susan B. Anthony voted for her; both women were arrested(link). Shocked by female reasoning, churchly males of the bullying and book-burning persuasions promptly passed Comstock laws to put women in their place–and censorship laws, and prohibition laws and confiscation laws.

Those laws made Republicans unpopular. Southern Democrats soon imagined they’d been cheated in elections and proceeded to murder hundreds of Blacks elected to office thanks to the 15th Amendment. So to free voting Southern night riders from prosecution for murder while still prosecuting women non-voters for voting or conspiring at birth control, the all-male Supreme court ruled that the invisible words “Black male” were also in 15A between “right of” and “citizens.” Financial panic inconveniently set in, markets collapsed, Republicans lost the next election and it was THEIR turn to overturn the results at gunpoint. So you see how U.S. laws and policies can contain invisible words that make them difficult for foreigners to understand without a translation.

In 2008, a beatific christiano-fascist with great ideas about how to coerce people at gunpoint, wrecks the economy with asset forfeiture like Herbert Hoover, Nixon and Reagan-Bush1.(link) The other clueless yet officious party is stuck with the mess, yet struggles to ignore the 1972 Libertarian Party platform calling for repeal of meddlesome drug and abortion laws.(link) The Dems do nothing to secure women’s rights gained by libertarian and court action and instead struggle to make electricity illegal. God’s Own Prohibitionists meanwhile promise to kick in more doors, rob and shoot more victimless skeptics, and rob women of 9th, 13th and 14th Amendment rights.(link) Suddenly the Libertarian candidate gets over 4 million votes, bridges the spoiler gap on 13 states and reshuffles 127 electoral votes. Once the magnitude of the Libertarian spoiler vote effect sinks in, the DEA takes 763 door-kicking parasites off its payroll just like that!

So Trump’s looters win, pack the court with girl-bullying Christian National Socialists, and Democrats whine and snivel for electors to throw them Electoral College votes.(link) So… guess which party learned from its errors? Dems paid a fortune to elect former prohibitionist looter Joe Biden on a platform to (get this!) stop the ku-klux States from again enslaving women and call a halt to robbing, jailing and shooting kids over plant leaves. Encouraged, voters tossed the Grabbers of Pussy out the way they did the Dems in 2016. But the Republican platform has not changed a jot or tittle in eight years.

Now, suddenly, the Christian National Socialist candidate is talking about (get this!) reversing the Libertarian platform recommendation that pregnant women be protected from involuntary servitude for at least the 15 weeks the Supreme Court ruled in Roe v Wade–a month after Tonie Nathan got the first electoral vote cast for a female candidate.(link) The Don wants to re-enact blanket Comstockism to rob women of the individual rights they voted into many of the several State Constitutions and jurisprudence. The idea is to stop the liberating operation of the 9th and 10th, 13th, 14th and 19th Amendments which stand a chance of finally freeing American women from literal enslavement at the hands of evangelical brutes and their Torquemadista minions. Instead of preserving female immunity from coercive collectivism, MAGAts seek an end-run to turn the floor preventing female enslavement into a cap demanding it!

Republicans had to pay nine times as much per vote as Libertarian candidates.

Democrats had to pay 13 times as much per vote as Libertarian candidates. This shows that individuals are disproportionately more willing to vote for Libertarian (not anarchist) policies than be gulled by either faction of the entrenched Kleptocracy. These disparities contribute hugely to our leveraged, law-changing clout.(link)

Biden won by the largest popular margin since 1932, when the Democratic Party copied the Liberal Party plank calling for the repeal of prohibition laws and Amendment, and candidate FDR promised to legalize beer in a Pittsburgh speech October 19, 1932 shown at movie theaters nationwide.(link) No Republican calls attention to that. Instead they whine that a MERE 44000 votes sprinkled over Arizona, Georgia and Wisconsin in 2020 COULD HAVE thrown the election to the House. (link) With empty assurances they left protection of individual rights for women–gained by the Libertarian party in 1972–in the hands of a lady judge born the month FDR beat Herbert Hoover.(link) Suddenly, after being whopped upside the haid by the court-packing, girl-bullying mystical Orango-Thing, the fanatically prohibitionist Democrat NOW says maybe someday he’ll kinda sorta look at getting the feds to shoot fewer hippies over pot. State governments meanwhile chainsaw plant prohibition laws like loggers in a rainforest. States are also chainsawing Comstock laws passed when nekkid photographs were a new invention and Prohibitionism was Settled Science. Biden talks about restoring the LP’s Roe régime and RFK Jr says he’d sign a bill legalizing psychedelics.
