This is such a wonderful set of magnets. To me the letters are well made out of a foam material with the entire backside covered with the magnet so it won't slide off the fridge or come apart from the letter itself. It came with one set of capital and 3 sets of lower case letters so many spelling options are available. The colors are bright and fun and the free e-book that you can download from their site is cute and will be useful in the future. My son is a little too young (15 months) to be playing with it unsupervised since he still sometimes puts things in his mouth, but when I sit with him, he loves playing with them and doesn't get tired of repeatedly pulling them off and sticking them back on the fridge. The letters were a little smaller than expected (I'm used to seeing the big plastic ones) but now actually prefer this size because they fit much better on the included magnetic board, which will come in handy when my son is older and I don't want to be stuck right next to the refrigerator just to use them. The co-founder of the company, Pixel Premium, also contacted me by e-mail to follow up on my satisfaction with the product and that was very appreciate. I'd recommend this product to a friend and am planning to buy it for my friend's baby once she's old enough.

I have a 30-month-old (okay, okay, she's 2 and 1/2), and she loves this set. She'd been very much into painting and chalk art on an Edsel we got her, but that was non-magnetic - I really don't know why the magnetic versions are so much more costly - and over the past couple of weeks, she both learned her alphabet and started rearranging/breaking our fridge magnets. We decided to combine both past times, and after shopping around, we landed on the Pixel set and loved it. What a clever idea to make the letters sturdy and soft - no more fridge scratches!

The set arrived as quickly as I've come to expect from Amazon, and from the morning it arrived, it's been a huge hit. She's played with it non-stop, with her constantly bringing the board (it's small, but a great size for her to tote around the house or car) to us to show us all the "words" she's been spelling. The set itself is pretty great - lots and lots of letters, bright colors, lightweight but tough board, and a cute box that can be used for storage. This was a win for us - it's a great upgrade to a classic learning toy.

These were for my granddaughter, who just turned one, so she's still a little young. In my limited experience with them, I think they'll be very useful, and I like the fact that they are so colorful.

The only thing I might change, if I could, would be to add the serifs to the "I" and the "J" (the little horizontal projections across the top and bottom of the "I" and the top of the "J".) Without the serif, the "I" especially is a choking hazard. They are the only two letters that I feel nervous letting her play with right now (she still puts everything in her mouth.) But, in fairness, these magnets are recommended for age 3 and up.

I feel the addition of those serifs would make it safer for her to play with (even though, at this point, I would never let her play with them alone.)

Though there is a small magnetic board included in the ABC set, we like to also add a larger magnetic dry erase board for building words, or making letter patterns. This learning set is sturdy and will last a long time; a keeper, for sure!

I've been looking for a good, sturdy magnet set to use with my kids daily. Since I have a two-year-old and a four-year-old, I needed a set that could stand up to some tough love and would be simple enough for the kids to use. I can happily say that Pixel Premium's ABC Magnets check both of those boxes. My four-year-old has fallen in love with them and asks to use the magnets every day. She has been able to use the magnets to successfully match upper and lower case letters together. We use the magnet board to put short words up for her to look for as she tries to read. I downloaded their eBook a couple of days ago, but, I haven't used it yet; that being said, I read through it all and it's full of great ideas on how to use the magnets to enhance your kid's learning. In short, I was impressed by the obvious research and heart that went into developing that eBook. I would definitely buy another one of Pixel Premium's products in the future.

I've also had awesome customer service from Pixel Premium. They emailed me and asked for my feedback on the product, asked if there was anything missing that they could replace, and just wanted to make sure that I had gotten my order. Amazon had lost my package and cancelled my order. So, I ordered a second set. Of course, after I had already made a second order, and after it had shipped, the first package miraculously arrived. With two sets now (one I didn't pay for), I contacted their customer service to see how they would like me to return the second "free" set. To my surprise, they let me keep the second set and thanked me for my purchase. Even though this level of customer service didn't impact my review (I had already been playing with the original set before the second set arrived), I felt it was just a cool personal touch on their behalf.

In short, it's a great sturdy magnet set from a genuinely helpful company. What more could you want from an investment in your children?
