Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Harding and with the PTA! Parent/guardian volunteers are a huge part of making school a happy place to learn and grow for all students. Plus, it's fun!

Time commitment: Volunteer opportunities are very flexible, and there are options to fit any schedule and availability. In this survey you can select areas you are generally interested in, and a PTA volunteer will be in touch whenever there are is a volunteer need!

Fundraising: put the FUN in Fundraiser! Make awesome enrichments like art, music, PE, books, theater happen at Harding.

School Assemblies: participate at school events like Field Day and Lawrence Hall of Science visits.

Teacher Appreciation: show our teachers some love! Deliver the occasional coffee treat or seasonal gift.

Communications: I'd love to help spread the word about all the happenings at our school!

Recess (Playworks): keep recess positive by assisting our coach with games on the playground.

Community Building: fun community events for students and parents, like an Earth Day celebration, Family Movie Night, The Harding Carnival, or the International Potluck.

Parent Education: help the PTA get interesting speakers or offer other info nights helpful to parents.

Yard Improvement/School Beautification: gardening with students, yard cleanups, planting projects, murals.

Room Parent/Classroom help: supporting class and teacher needs.

Communications: join the team that coordinates the Harding Enews, Slack, and social media.

Street Safety: keep students safe as they cross busy streets going to and from school.

Office Help: help out Nancy and Linda, hand out bandaids.
