I have been purchasing this tea for a while now and have had no issues until today when I found a tea bag with torn packaging (looks like from a razor blade). What’s worse is it’s obviously taped up. Like huh? Eww. Disappointed that someone thought this was ok to just tape up and send on.

You know how when you find something you love SO much, you almost don't want other people to know about it, because then it might get more expensive or become harder to find? That's why I haven't written a review about this tea yet. I'm a big fan of tea and have many boxes of all different types in my cabinet (although I'm particularly fond of Traditional Medicinals blends). After treatment for cervical cancer, and the resulting "raw bladder" issues from the radiation, I could no longer have hardly any caffeine without it hurting my bladder. So I turned to my teas. I should also mention that I'm 50, now thrust into menopause whether I want it or not, and have entered that time in my life when one might end up feeling "crappy" without knowing the cause. When you have to be careful about what you drink or eat and how it will react with your body, it's wonderful to find something that doesn't harm you in any way and actually ends up making you feel better.

This tea has a mild taste (if you are used to chamomile tea, it has that light flavor along with a hint of lavender). There is a very slight tannic effect that you'll notice if you're susceptible to dry mouth. (Nothing to regard, since I drink water constantly anyway and it isn't a lasting effect.) It is soothing and tasty and relaxing...perfect for either a before-bed drink or to prepare you for the day ahead. I have a supply at all times and it's my go-to drink in the morning. I also gift boxes of this to people who are going through anything difficult, with the note that this is my favorite tea. (If it makes any difference to you, my previous favorite was Blackberry-Sage from the Republic of Tea.)
