On Saturday, February 25, Administrator Samantha Power will join Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova and the Ukrainian community at a public rally in Washington D.C. to mark one year since Russia's brutal and unprovoked full-scale invasion of Ukraine and to stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian people who bravely continue to defend their homeland. 

Administrator Power will deliver remarks, reaffirming USAID’s commitment to helping Ukraine ultimately emerge from Putin’s war as a strong, sovereign, independent, democratic, and prosperous country, free to choose its own future.
