The Amirim Computer Science program is a unique study track for honors students interested in expanding their education and developing their skills with the help of the best scientists and professors from the School of Computer Science and Engineering. The program consists of at least one track from the school and can be combined with intradisciplinary studies in different faculties, such as Natural Sciences.

Students in this program are exposed to the latest research in a range of computer fields by participating in a research seminar and monthly meetings with researchers, and completing a research project under the personal supervision of a professor from the School of Computer Science and Engineering.

Amirim Agricultural Sciences

This special program at the Faculty of Agriculture combines studies with research and is intended for honors students. The program takes place alongside a track to which the students applied and were accepted and is based on participation in a large-scale research project at one of the faculty's research labs during their undergraduate studies.

Each student in the program receives a faculty mentor according to their interest, joins an active research group, and takes part in the research.

The Faculty of Agriculture encourages students to design a personal academic schedule according to their project and to take courses from advanced degrees. The academic structure is based on the student’s personal program and is determined with the department head, program coordinator, and personal mentor.

Amirim Natural Sciences

Today's researchers are expected to develop a broad research perspective, have expertise in many subjects, and be knowledgeable about different analytical tools. This program exposes students to different disciplines, expands their horizons, and develops their creative thinking.

Graduates of this program are highly appreciated by the university and are encouraged to continue to advanced degrees, including direct PhD tracks. The program includes a scholarship and is intended for students planning to continue to advanced degrees.

Revivim

Revivim is a unique Hebrew University program founded from the desire to nurture educational leadership and contribute to the advancement of Jewish Studies education in the state school system throughout Israel, in an interesting, challenging, and meaningful manner.

Revivim is unique in that it combines hands-on teaching experience during undergraduate studies and includes numerous field trips, seminars, guest lectures, and more.

Revivim students are supervised by a first-rate pedagogic team and benefit from the opportunity to complete a Bachelor's degree, a Master’s degree, and a teaching certificate in only four years, together with a scholarship.

Agro-Informatics (Digital Agriculture)

Much research in the field of agriculture, food and the environment deals with collecting, analyzing, and understanding quantitative data. Modern-day researchers require computing tools to both manage and process the data and to draw conclusions. Agro-Informatics is a new inter-disciplinary field that combines the world of agriculture, food and the environment with the worlds of mathematics, computer science, physics and engineering.

Internet & Society

In the last few decades, digital web technologies have become key players in social, economic, and political processes around the world. Our aspiration is that new technologies and media channels will develop in a way that will not only meet user requirements, but will also assist social change and growth processes.

The Internet & Society program trains future industry leaders who will influence digital media and the social activism it enables. During their studies, students learn a broad range of subjects, including technological, analytical, social, economic, legal, and ethical. This knowledge represents the foundation for a deep understanding of developments in the world of technology, communications, and the Internet. In addition to theoretical studies, students develop tools for everyday life.

Cognitive Science

Cognitive Science deals with the explanation of mental abilities, such as language acquisition, decision making, creativity, and awareness. Cognition research touches on different fields, including Psychology, Linguistics, philosophy, logic and calculations, and brain science. This special program combines diverse fields in order to expose the processes that make up mental phenomena.

Double Degree in Law, Economics & Philosophy

This double Bachelor's degree program in law, economics, and philosophy is based on the premise that complex problems usually require complex solutions. Therefore, combining studies from three departments gives graduates the necessary tools to discuss theoretical, ethical, and hands-on aspects of such solutions. Each of these fields imparts important complementary analytical tools.

The program exposes students to a wide range of content related to contemporary social issues. Due to the interdisciplinary tools and knowledge they acquire, graduates of the program are expected to take on key positions in public and business sectors, social organizations, and in the academic sector in Israel as well as to impact Israeli society.

Statistics & Data Science

In light of the drastic changes brought on around the world by big data, how it is handled, and how it is collected, this program represents how the Department of Statistics is focusing more on data science techniques. Data science is a very broad and encompassing term based on the fields of statistics and computing.

In today's society, data is collected on nearly every activity we do. This data serves as a rich source for mining information and decision making in  areas such as marketing and R&D. Correct data analysis is key to gaining the insights which have scientific, economic, or social significance. Therefore, data scientists adept in statistical and computational tools and skilled in gaining basic insights from large amounts of complicated data are in high demand on the job market.
