Outside of stay-at-home parent duties, Antoine Echavidre teaches the increasingly popular sport of pickleball. Echavidre, who started giving lessons through TeachMe.To in 2023, said the money he has earned has been “a game changer.” While side hustles typically mean on the side of a job, stay-at-home parents like Echavidre might find it helpful to earn some money through a few hours of work. With a new passion for pickleball during the pandemic, Echavidre advised stay-at-home parents to pick up a gig that they are passionate about too if they have the time. Ted Rossman, a senior industry analyst for Bankrate, also talked to Business Insider about picking up side work. "You may not find the perfect thing right off the bat, but it's a process," Rossman said. "The more people you can meet or projects you can do or lines you can add to your résumé, I think that's all additive." Read more at the story below.
