Etna (Sicily, Italy): Less than 2 days after the previous lava fountaining episode (known as paroxysm), the 9th paroxysm took place from Etna’s New SE crater this morning.
At first, it looked as if the volcano was going to produce the eruption already in the early morning hours: around 2 am local time, mild to moderate strombolian activity started at the New SE crater and soon became near-continuous. A lava flow started to flow from the eastern end of the deep fissure cutting through the cone, and slowly traveled eastwards. At the same time, volcanic tremor started to rise.
However, this activity slowed down again after around 3:30 am and ceased at around dawn, but only to restart about an hour later. From around 8 am, it again increased and this time developed into sustained tall lava fountains between around 9:30-10:30 local time. A tall ash plume rose approx. 4-5 km above the crater and spread into an umbrella cloud that drifted east and caused heavy ash fall in some eastern sectors and as far as Messina town.

Krísuvík (Southwestern Iceland): (4 Mar) The Icelandic Met Office (IMO) reported that seismicity on Reykjanes peninsula in the area between Krýsuvík, Kleifarvatn a Svartsengi volcanic system has been increasing during the past week.
The seismic activity started on 24 February accompanied by two moderate-to-strong volcano-tectonic earthquakes with magnitude M 5.0 and M 5.7 respectively and later that day another earthquake with magnitude M 4.8. Since the beginning of this unrest, 16 earthquakes above M 4 and 90 earthquakes above M 3 were detected by seismic network. The volcano-tectonic earthquakes were widely felt across SW part of the country including larger ones in the NW part as far as Ísafjörður.

Suwanose-jima (Ryukyu Islands): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) issued the following report: EXPLODED AT 20210304/1322Z VA CLD UNKNOWN OBS VA DTG:04/1310Z

Pinatubo (Luzon Island): (4 Mar) The alert level for Mt. Pinatubo was raised today, 04 March 2021, from level 0 (quiet) to level 1 (low unrest). Since 20 Jan. 2021, a total of 1722 imperceptible quakes have been recorded by PHIVOLCS’ Pinatubo Volcano Network (PVN). Latest measurements of CO2 and temperature on Feb. 2021, yielded slight increase. The CO2 flux measured was about 378 tonnes/day, still within the background range of 1000 tonnes/day.

Raung (East Java): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Darwin (VAAC) issued the following report: VONA STATE ERUPTION TO FL140 MOV E AT 04/1654Z

Dukono (Halmahera): (4 Mar) Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 5000 ft (1500 m) altitude or flight level 050 .

The full report is as follows: NEW VA EM TO FL230 to 20000 ft (6100 m)

Pacaya (Guatemala): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 11000 ft (3400 m) altitude or flight level 110 .
The full report is as follows: NEW VA EMS to 11000 ft (3400 m)
…4 Mar:
The effusive-explosive eruption of the volcano continues at high levels characterized by strong strombolian activity from the Mackenney summit crater.
Judging from video record, another short lava-fountaining episode (so-called paroxysm) appeared from the summit crater yesterday that generated glowing lava bombs up to an approximate height of 500 meters above the summit as well as a tall and dense dark ash column that rose to estimated 11,500 ft (3,500 m) altitude extending about 25 km to the west of the volcano. Visibility of remaining lava fountains was very limited due to an ash clouds.

Fuego (Guatemala): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 14000 ft (4300 m) altitude or flight level 140 .
The full report is as follows: ONGOING VA EMS to 14000 ft (4300 m)

Sabancaya (Peru): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Buenos Aires warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 24000 ft (7300 m) altitude or flight level 240 and is moving at 15 kts in SW direction.
The full report is as follows: PUFF EMISSIONS to 24000 ft (7300 m)
