These zip ties are well made and work as intended. It's tough to expect that much out of a <$10 product but little purchases add up to a lot of money over time. These are a good value if you're in need of 4" zip ties. I used about half the pack and I've not had one failure. A good strength zip tie that is easy to use.

As a side note, there are some zip ties with "twist off" ties, that once you zip up the connection, you turn the excess cable and it separates. This product does not have the feature so you'll need to have scissors around. I've wondered if there is a strength decrease associated with adding that feature so I'm happy with using the non-twist off type and having to manually cut off the excess.

I purchased this pack of zip ties to "force" a crooked lampshade to straighten out on a lamp it didn't really go with - some careful maneuvering and voila! The lampshade now sits straight and secure, held to the lamp arm by the zip ties which, after the excess was cut with a pair of scissors, don't even show. I'm glad I bought a pack of 100, however, because since throwing them in my "junk drawer" they have come in handy for all sorts of things - binding up cords behind the computer desk for instance. They're pretty durable and yet easy to cut - nothing to complain about from such a common household item that I never really knew I needed, but am glad to have lying around.

They worked perfectly fine. I like that you get so many so I can just cut them off to make adjustments or change out cables and throw more on. No need to try to salvage them like I usually do, which is a tedious task. I use cable ties more than the average person for on the fly fastening and patch jobs. So you can trust me, these will get the job done if you need some short nimble cable ties. These aren't very wide or long, but pound for pound they are very strong.
Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2012
I ordered the cable ties not really knowing what to expect. A cable tie is a very particular restraining device. I've had cable ties made of brittle plastic that snap in half when you tried to cinch them. I've have cable ties that refused to stay cinched after you cinched them. You might say that I am somewhat of a connoisseur of cable ties.

As a result of my cable tieing hobby when I needed to secure surface run ethernet cabling I knew there was only one answer.
Cable ties!

When I started searching for my solution I first came upon the surface mount cable tie anchors also sold on Amazon and figured these would work well together.
When I saw they were often sold together I knew I had found the right cure for what ailed me.

These cable ties arrived in a small plastic bag. While I didn't count them to ensure I had received single one of my valued cable ties I felt confident that the number would suffice.

I cautiously, carefully, opened the plastic bag by biting a corner off and sprinkled out a few samples to test for quality.

The material wasn't so stiff and brittle that I feared they would break when tightened.
The material wasn't so soft that I feared I would rip them in half.
As for stay cinchability? Well, I could only guess.

I decided to spend one of my cable ties on a practical test. I affixed the anchor to the wall and placed one of these cable ties through the anchor...

Breath baited I exhaled... then I cinched it. I cinched that cable good!
I cinched the hell outta that darn cable!

The cable tie did well. Once cinched, it stayed cinched.
It didn't break. It didn't fail.

I am pleased with these cable ties.
They sure did tie some cables!

Ordered these to help child proof our desks and TV area of the house by tying up some cables. I was initially expecting bigger ties as I didn't pay attention to the size description on these. These are not average ties as you would find on a child's toy securing it to the box which was what I was expecting, but as the fault was mine for not reading the description in the NAME of the item I'm not deducting a star. As it was these worked perfectly for my task and a more heavy duty tie would have been excessive and unnecessarily large.

They served me well. They were good zip ties and not brittle as some tend to be.
This is to say that they were good on arrival. after some time, they tend to weaken.

If you are using these for an indoor application like a PC. They are perfect.

If you are using these for an automotive application...you may run into issues depending on where they are placed and what they are used on, but this is true of any zip tie of this kind you might purchase.

Avoid too much heat and sunlight and you will avoid those problems.

I've read most of the reviews and it seems that the vendors aren't shipping out the Cables To Go brand #43036 zip ties and just shipping any cheap 4" zip ties. I ordered this item and got zip ties with mounting holes on the heads. They are too bulky for my needs.

There IS a difference. The guys that are breaking them easily are the cheap no-name brands that I've seen before and break when you breath on them. That's why I thought I was buying a brand name zip tie but the vendors aren't shipping what's advertised. Even the AutoZone 4" zip ties are better than the cheap ones some of these vendors are shipping.

These cable ties are quite small but perfect for cable management. I started using them before I counted them, but I believe there were more than 100 units, based on the amount I counted and the rough amount that I used. I would recommend these cable ties as they are of decent quality.

I'm not going to count if there are actually 100, and I think they know that as well... so we're all probably only getting 99 cable ties so they can get that extra 1% savings. We're being robbed blind.
