So far when the electric goes off and comes on it never changes the satellite. The satellite will continue to operate on the batteries which gives it an even power source. It's also got plugs for a surge protector if you don't want to run it through the batteries. For the price I can't see anything wrong with it. It was within my budget.

Bought this 2/1/2021 when the power has gone out with just my son’s breathing machine lasted about 20 minutes. Well today the battery finally went out. So it lasted 3 years not sure if that’s good but seems fine for the price I suppose

This is a small 6-outlet surge protector with battery backup. Only half of the outlets count with battery backup; for my application, this is enough since my main interest when I purchased the unit was to protect my PS4 from sudden blackouts while on standby mode, and to provide a little backup time for my WiFi router. I was looking for a low-cost UPS which meant getting a low-spec unit but since I have no intention of using it for a cloud server or something similar, I think the specs are more than adequate.

I had the chance to test this unit in real life today when, after returning from a drive to the museum with my family, we discovered that there was a blackout while we were out. I immediately went to the family room where I have the new UPS with the PS4 and my XFinity router connected. I immediately noticed the PS4 was still in standby mode instead of totally turned off. This was, for me, enough evidence the unit did its job.

The unit is fan-cooled (at least I think I heard a fan running) so give the unit plenty of space to breathe.

Pros: Small, convenient, true sine wave output, good value for the money.
Cons: Only three outlets are battery backed; the rest only include surge protection.

Conclusion: It's not a powerful unit but it does the job, at a great price.

My main use of this product is for simply, Battery backup so that I can resume my work without interruption of a power outage (even though I have a laptop, but my newly built desktop is on standby) It had a weird smell once I opened the box but its not bad, that means it was freshly packed (In my opinion). The software was great, just what I wanted. All I have plugged in is my Cisco router, and my almost completed desktop. I have lots of room in the built in outlets for future expansion of my workstation. Highly recommend this product for people with computers or if you just want general protection for your TV, Video game, etc.. This is my first time with this company. NOTE: You must charge your battery for 8 hours before use, you can use it while its charging but I wouldn't recommend it. But that,s your call. Shipping was very good (even though it was raining and whoever placed the package into a plastic bag didn't tie it properly.. but it is in working condition and it didn't get soaked.)

Update: 8/18/13

I went away for vacation for a week and when I came back, My computer wont turn on, I checked and noticed the ups was off and I left the ups running for a whole week when I was gone. I tried turning it back on and it wont. I called Cyber-power tech support and followed the steps he told me. I pressed and held the power button for 5 seconds as he requested and it still did not turn on. So he sent me a email and I have to provide the information and the invoice for the return shipping label free of charge and when they received it, they will send me a new one at no cost. 5/5 tech support right there. So now I have to use my laptop in the mean time while I wait. But I'm still wondering how and why my ups was off and why it didn't turn back on.

Update 9/10/13

After all the wait, I emailed cyberpower and they said that they were doing their biannual inventory check and all orders in and out were frozen. I didn't mind but Id wish they would have sent me a email letting me know. But hey the replacement came and I received 2 cyberpower units, which ill keep the extra one as a spare. I'm loving the replacement so far and no Issues has arisen ever since. Thank you Cyberpower! Looking forward to doing business with you in the future.

Needed a light duty UPS for my mesh wireless access points throughout the house. I rarely lose power, and when I do, it’s typically only for a few seconds - enough to wreak havoc on all the IOT devices in the house. Now, these keep the wifi running, along with a larger cousin in the internet closet to keep the server, modem, and switch going, when the power blinks on and off at random. The small footprint is also nice - some of the UPS units are bulky. This was perfect for my application.

Remember the battery is only good for a few years (average of 3 or 4 for me)
So put a birthdate sticker on them and search for a decent source for replacement batteries ($60)

Compré el UPS de 350VA, pues sólo lo requiero para respaldar mi módem de internet ante intermitencias en la corriente eléctrica, al recibirlo lo dejé cargando por más de 8 horas, luego hice prueba desconectando la UPS de le corriente eléctrica y conecté un ventilador de torre en su velocidad más baja y el respaldo duró casi 3 horas, los pitidos de la UPS se producen cada 30 segundos cuando esta funcionando en modo respaldo, cuando si está conectado a la corriente eléctrica no produce pitidos, me parece un buen respaldo y me gusta que su tamaño es pequeño en comparación con otros que son enormes. Lo recomiendo.
