The Ukrainian hackers posted the following video address on the defaced websites:
"Today, we give the Ukrainian society a new gift dedicated to the Remembrance and Victory Day. The whole network of the aggressor's information assets and websites of the Russian terrorists of Donbas will be paralyzed this day. This video appeal and other materials exposing the occupants' delusions will appear on many sites of the enemy. We won then and will be victorious now to the glory of our ancestors, to the glory of the past and future heroes. Glory to Ukraine!" the hackers say in the video message.
One of the InformNapalm international community volunteers Roman Burko posted the list of some pro-Russian terrorists' sites defaced by the Ukrainian hackers, Censor.NET reports.
1. The popular site spreading aggressive Russian propaganda (http://dnr-pravda.ru) created to wage the information war against Ukraine was hacked at 12:30 a.m. It is currently defaced by the hackers' "congratulations".
2. The official site of the "DPR" (http://dnr-online.ru/) was hacked at 1 a.m. The hackers' message dedicated to World War II (similar to the one posted on dnr-pravda.ru) could have been still found there at about 7 a.m.
3. The "DPR" official site's sub domain (http://old.dnr-online.ru/) underwent changes similar to the ones described in paragraph 2.
4. The terrorists' website http://crimes.dnr-online.ru was hacked at 1:30 a.m. and filled with materials concerning war crimes committed by the Russian Federation. The website is still defaced.
The Ukrainian hackers promise that this list of victories over the aggressor in the information space is far from complete. They named their operations #OpMay9 and #оп9Мая.
