David Guillod has resigned from Primary Wave Entertainment, Variety has learned. The co-CEO of the talent and literary agency has been facing allegations of sexual misconduct from actress Jessica Barth.
In a statement to Variety, representatives for the company said, “Primary Wave Entertainment and David Guillod have agreed to part ways effective immediately, David Guillod has resigned from the company.”

Another industry executive has stepped down amid allegations of sexual assault, Variety has confirmed.
David Guillod, the co-CEO of talent and literary agency Primary Wave Entertainment, has taken a leave of absence from the company following allegations of sexual misconduct. Actress Jessica Barth (“Ted”) has accused of him of drugging and sexually assaulting her in 2012. Her account was first reported by TheWrap.
“Following recently reported accusations, David Guillod is taking a leave of absence from Primary Wave Entertainment, effective immediately, in order for this matter to be thoroughly investigated,” said the company in a statement to Variety. “We take any accusations of sexual misconduct very seriously. Our company’s greatest strength is our culture of respect, and we have a zero tolerance policy toward harassment or abuse of any kind.”

Barth had reported the incident to the LAPD at the time, but ultimately didn’t press charges under threat of a lawsuit from Guillod, who was then her manager. She decided to revisit the case when another woman reached out to say she had been assaulted by Guillod as well.
Barth served as an executive producer of “Atomic Blonde,” and AT&T Audience Network’s “Hit the Road” and “Loudermilk.”
