Since the inception of the company we have dreamt of this very moment, for everyone to be able to fly together and share this incredibly immersive and addictive experience with another Jetson pilot. A Jetson first! A dual manned formation flight! It was a unique experience to witness such a milestone met by our two senior pilots Tomasz Patan and Oriol Palet Santandreu. We watched from a safe distance as they coordinated their take off, flight, and landing demonstration. Stay tuned to the full video coming soon, we can't wait to share it with you!

This week the office is buzzing with the anticipation of over 110 guests flying in from Japan, Australia, US, Canada, UK, Hungary, Germany, Switzerland; future Jetson pilots and their families will be joining us at our facilities in Tuscany, Italy this Friday. We are happy to have them witness the progress, and presentation of the latest Jetson ONE.   The weather forecast looks bright and sunny throughout the weekend, so families are sure to have a great time. As per last year's event, we will welcome our guests and share the latest and greatest updates of the Jetson ONE development, perform demo flights by our test pilots, and give everyone the opportunity to meet with fellow Jetson ONE pilots. The company staff members will be in attendance all day to answer questions and our visitors will see, for the first time, our new upholstery options available in four colors. Here we are visualizing wake turbulence just behind our Jetson ONE.  What is wake turbulence and why is it important? Wake Turbulence is the disruption or movement of air surrounding the vehicle. This is a crucial part to understanding and maintaining safety for the take-off and landing phases of an aircraft.  Using purple smoke, we can visualize the direction of the rotor wash behind the Jetson ONE. As you can see, during slow flight maneuvers the rotating air creates vertical downdraft and intensifies becoming a vortex that pushes the air downward allowing eVTOL vehicle to ascend and descend. It’s particularly useful in cases when planning a formation flight with multiple vehicles.  As always, safety first!

Attended and supported by Italian industry leaders offering a training grant to complete CPL/ATPL courses. With the Jetson ONE, the Volandia museum unveiled the future of personal aviation. And the audience loved it!
