- 5 cups cubed whole wheat bread
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Cut bread into approximately 1 inch cubes.
Spread bread cubes on baking sheet.
Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle seasoning over bread cubes, stir until evenly distributed.
Bake for approximately 10-20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes, until bread cubes turn golden brown. Baking time will be dependent on how dry bread cubes were before baking.
Remove from oven and let cool on sheet pan.
Serve over lettuce salad or on top of soup. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
