    The format of the kindle version marketing to affluent people is horrible I wonder is if the author has been made aware of this situation. I bought the audible version as I couldn't read the book itself. I hope the author finds someone who can edit the book correctly for the kindle version and let us know about it.

    Big fan of the No B.S. series. No B.S. Marketing to the Affluent is great, it gives real insight into the buying trends of the top end of the market, how to position yourself to be in line with consumers that are less price averse and won't disappear during a recession. If you are trying to grow your business this is a must read. If you are just getting started in business this book help you speed past some of the learning curve.

    I'm a big fan of Kennedy's. His No B.S. Direct marketing training and books have
    always been profitable to me. It's real world...feet on the ground...get results.

    This is an update of the same title done a few years ago. And very, very insightful.

    He talks about the top dogs in income and what they respond to.

    More importantly he delves into the different levels of the Mass Affluent world. If that's where you live and work..you'll recognize the behaviors. But maybe never had them put out so plainly for you. And now you can
    do better. Bottom line...if this is an audience you sell to, you'll be very glad you found it.

    On the other hand, if you are one of the "I hate rich people" Or "I hate successful people"...or some irrational version of that...you probably wouldn't even be looking at this. But if it is you...don't bother. You'll just get upset.
    (And knowing Dan, he's probably upset for me saying this because he certainly wants to sell
    as many copies as he can !)

    As usual Dan Kennedy's straightforward style nails it. I love the way he doesn't mince words.

    Technically, Kennedy's other book is about marketing to seniors. But if you know where the wealth currently resides, you'll understand that dual income Boomers who are about to inherit the largest mass of wealth, are indeed the affluent.

    A Boomer myself, I know how tricky it is to market to us because our generation has never been like the gen before it. We always do it our way... including what people who aren't smart call "aging".

    Boomers prefer to consider these years prime time and when you understand how to speak to us with respect and give us the dignity we deserve, we'll consider buying.

    Master your messages to this generation and you'll have the treasure map that helps you serve the affluent.

    This is the roadmap for selling your products and services if you want more and better clients/customers/patients. All the research is laid out for you by demographics, interests, and hobbies, and more.

    As a copywriter, I want to help my clients be more profitable, and this provides timely insights into what the affluent are looking for from you. If you're struggling to find your niche, give this a read to find the answer.

    Take the shortcut that he's offering and use it - for good.

    I can barely get past the first chapter. The author’s political leanings are so apparent and distracting. He’s borderline offensive and beyond arrogant. If you like to watch Fox News 24/7 you’ll likely enjoy this book. But if I keep reading this I’ll likely vomit all over the pages and then won’t be able to return this garbage and get my money back.

    Dan Kennedy not only covers the topic of marketing to the affluent in-depth, but he also makes several excellent book recommendations. He clearly did his research in writing this book. The chapters written by others are quite informative as well. I highly recommend this book, even if you're not selling to the affluent.

    This is straight up my favourite Dan Kennedy book. He lays out what he's discovered about rich people, tells you exactly what they're looking for in a product/service, and tells you what appeals to use to hook them.

    The "e-factors" chapter is especially great. I've already read it over 10 times easily, with copious notes. At the end he also gives you case studies of how his students implemented his teachings into their businesses - which should give you plenty of practical ideas for your own.

    Genuinely astounding that such valuable information is available in a mere £10 book.
