Summary
A glycoprotein isolated fromAloe arborescens Mill markedly inhibited the growth of a syngeneic transplantable fibrosarcoma of mice, Meth A, in ascites form. There is evidence that the inhibition mechanism is host-mediated and not a direct toxic effect on the tumor cell.
