PROS: Thanks to its intuitive and simple UI there is no training needed, but you can always watch their webinars or read blog posts on how to use this tool and to expand your knowledge. I like that it provides competitive positioning map and analysis like keywords, ads and so on.

CONS: I don’t believe that the data is accurate, it seems like it is out-dated and this is because there is no integration with AdWords, so for this reason they can include integration with Google Analytics so we can get better and accurate data.

PROS: The main thing about Semrush is versatility and SEO functionality, but beside SEO there are lot of things you cqan do with, such as: brand monitoring, position tracking, SEO ideas and backlink audit. If you are not familiar with it, you can watch tutorials which are extremely helpful, but the one thing you should now is that you might be overwhelmed with lot of information about this platform. The price is affordable but it might be expensive for small size businesses. I like the competitor tracking because it is useful and it allows you to see competitor backlinks.

CONS: The site audit has some problems but as soon as I try to fix one thing another issue arises. Also, it would be great if I could get recommendation globally instead of geographical location.

PROS: SemRush is simple and easy to use platform and you can easily do keyword research, competitor backlink audits, rank trackings, traffic analysis, page metrics analysis, site audits and more. There are huge amount of feat ures so you can dive deeper into various metrics that will hlp with data and SEM analysis.

CONS: Sometimes it crashes and I have to re-do my analysis but maybe this my fault because I’ve tried to extract lot of links at the same time. Also, you cannot open various computers, if you want to switch from laptop to desktop you have to log in again. It would be helpful if we could run two different computers at the same time.

PROS: SEMrush is my essential project manager, and I use it to organize my kewords in a comprehensive manner (via types and site areas). At the same time, it is an easy SEO optimization tool that never fails to perform what you expect from it. I am very satisified with the speed and the analytic functions, and I appreciate the interface that is far more simple than any analytic tool I've used before.

CONS: Google's keyword planner doesn't always match the search volume of SEMrush, that's a bit of a problem. To be frank, I didn't even expect them to match, so it doesn't mean anything to me. I would like to see some improvements on the backlink tool, though, and I'm confident the team is working on them.

PROS: The dashboard is lovable, to say at least, which doesn't come as a surprise because it is very simple. It feels like having your entire marketing search strategy at your sight, and you can have a glimpse on starting and ending points, prioritized tasks, and potential outcomes. It is very user-friendly, and I like the reports it can pull off.

CONS: It is an amazing product, and there is nothing one could dislike about it. I only have a sincere recommendation for the to change the name, since this one is very difficult to remember even for users who are about to recommend it to somebody. Otherwise, there is nothing to criticize about it, it is just perfect.

PROS: Semrush does the thing in one perfect way, it has a lot going on. The website Audit tool is flexible and highly functional, and it allows you to fix every flag you can ever imagine on your website. Also, it provides great social tracker, on page SEO checker and link building center features and with these the SEO work is much more simplified. I manage to consolidate few of our monthly fees into one without losing functionality.

CONS: If you don’t know what you’re doing you might get into trouble. Bear in mind that all product’s suggestions can be risky when it comes to rankings and it is not very common to go overboard to make some changes in order to get 100% positive score and in the end to realize that one of them would negatively affect you.

PROS: We all know how important is to be able to compare your website with the ones o your strongest competitors, which is why SEMrush was actually created. You can do side-by-side comparison, deliver SERP results, analyse the key metrics of your competitors, and measure your domain strength. Organic Search provides us with invaluable information, while measuring the effect of keywords means the world to my work.

CONS: Cons is a big word for SEMrush, it just doesn't have any. It might be a good idea to create my own reporting templates, but I am satisified even with the ones I have. There is much more I need to discover about SEMrush, but there is time. I will!

PROS: SEMrush was almost like magic to us, we purchased it and voila! All information was there! It's not difficult to pull the trigger when you know what you need, and it takes few minutes to make complex comparisons. The interface makes SEO and SEM friendly, to say at least, and that's how we use SEMrush the most. To be completely honest, I love what this program can do with Google rankings, and how it reveals competitor behavior to keep you a step above. That's just incredible!

CONS: I'm using it for quite a while, and I never had a problem with it. I responsibly claim it is the perfect program, and I'm not planning on changing it any time soon.

PROS: How could I not love it? I just copy the domain of a website, paste it on the dashboard, and I can immediately see my competitors' keywords and ranking! Few months ago, they released a complementary feature that allows me to look at the ranking and number of keywords of each separate page. My second favorite feature is competitive analysis, where we can use the keywords we've targeted to understand our exact position compared to the one of a particular competitor. Thanks to it, we can also discover new market opportunities.

CONS: I dislike the fact that I couldn't add users to a particular account, and I had to change my Free plan with the Guru one. Now I have to pay $149 every month, and I am often wondering whether I can actually afford it.

PROS: I honestly don't remember how we used to work when SEMrush was not around, that's almost like a bad dream I don't want to think about. Business is performing like never before, because clients appreciate the insight on their competitors we are able to provide them recently. What makes the tool even more special is its monitoring capacity-a feature our digital team is absolutely inlove with!

CONS: I'm probably not the first one to tell you that Google Analytics data is not perfectly synchronized with SEMrush, and that's the truth. There are many differences to reconcile in order to enable SEMrush to use data from Google, and to perform its competitive analysis, so get ready to warm the chair.

PROS: We use SEMrush for SEO purposes, mostly measuring the effect of our keywords on our website's ranking. We get to see separate rankings for every month, and to compare between them when necessary. The tool also offers competitive analysis functions, as for instance comparing our paid keyword list with the ones of our main competitors.

CONS: SEMrush is not intgrated with Google Adwords and Analytics, and I think it doesn't make sense. It prevents us from accessing real-time keyword information on our other accounts. Being more specific, the interface is not exactly the easiest one ever, and I think that less experienced users neglect fabulous features because of it. Even I took my time to discover SEO Ideas and Audit, I had no idea they existed.

PROS: Power lies in comprehension, and SEMrush is there to prove it. Simple and well-organized, SEMrush made it to the top of popular organic search marketing tools, at least for us who have to deal with piles of different data. It has more features than you can possibly imagine, but it won't overwhelm you: everything is there with a purpose! The searching options are diverse: you can search by domains, keywords, or separate pages. The page stats displayed are indeed impressive, and the search process doesn't take ages to learn.

CONS: Both SEMrush and Moz work with campaign notions, and that limits the number of competitors I can track. I'd like to have graphs for at least 10 companies (the way Positionly allows it), and I really don't get it why things have to be this way. I hope they will fix it soon.

PROS: I like it because it allows me to track keywords VS competitors in particular areas of the country. I like that I can see how things are going in other cities without wasting time for wordly or regional view. I use it on a daily basis to do keyword and competitor research.

CONS: I have experienced that their “tracking” doesn’t match with current situations but on the other side, it provides good perspective.

PROS: The main thing about Semrush is versatility and SEO functionality, but beside SEO there are lot of things you cqan do with, such as: brand monitoring, position tracking, SEO ideas and backlink audit. If you are not familiar with it, you can watch tutorials which are extremely helpful, but the one thing you should now is that you might be overwhelmed with lot of information about this platform. The price is affordable but it might be expensive for small size businesses. I like the competitor tracking because it is useful and it allows you to see competitor backlinks.

CONS: The site audit has some problems but as soon as I try to fix one thing another issue arises. Also, it would be great if I could get recommendation globally instead of geographical location.

PROS: Semrush does the thing in one perfect way, it has a lot going on. The website Audit tool is flexible and highly functional, and it allows you to fix every flag you can ever imagine on your website. Also, it provides great social tracker, on page SEO checker and link building center features and with these the SEO work is much more simplified. I manage to consolidate few of our monthly fees into one without losing functionality.

CONS: If you don’t know what you’re doing you might get into trouble. Bear in mind that all product’s suggestions can be risky when it comes to rankings and it is not very common to go overboard to make some changes in order to get 100% positive score and in the end to realize that one of them would negatively affect you.
