Watch a Group of Ukrainian Christians Sing and Pray in Kyiv Days Before the Attack

A video is circulating online of Ukrainian Christians worshipping in a metro station in Kyiv, just two days before Ukraine’s capital had been attacked by Russian troops.
The video shows a large group of Christians gathered together, singing “Моя молитва нехай лине,” which roughly translates to “Let My Prayer Flow.” It’s sung as a prayer for Ukraine, asking for salvation, mercy, forgiveness and protection.

In preparation for a war with Russia, Ukrainian Christians sung their prayers, asking God to “please send the mercy to us” and reminding their country that God will be with them. A full version with English subtitles is available on YouTube.

Earlier this week, President Vladimir Putin ordered Russian troops to invade Ukraine, starting a war that has already left dozens dead and thousands scattering from their homes. As the tension and panic rises, Ukrainians are fighting for peace and stability, looking for help wherever they can get it.
The video is a sobering reminder to continue to pray for Ukrainians as they are entering what will likely be a dangerous and difficult time. In addition to the prayers Ukraine needs right now, they will also need help in many other ways for weeks and months to come.
