ABSTRACT

Automated vehicle (AV) technology refers to a broad set of techniques that use vehicle sensors such as cameras, lidar (light detection and ranging), and radar to help a computer system build a model of the external world to guide a car, truck, delivery robot, or other ground vehicle safely and avoid harm to other road users.
