New Cast Announced for “XO, Kitty” as Season 2 Begins Production in Seoul

Last Summer we announced that young-adult series “XO, Kitty” starring Anna Cathcart had been renewed by Netflix and we now have some updates. The series is a spin-off from the “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” film franchise based on the New York Times best-selling book series by Jenny Han and production has now started on season 2. What’s more, we have three new cast members to announce.

New series regular Audrey Huynh (“ANZBBGRL”, “Wyrm”) will play Stella, and Sasha Bhasin (“Brave the Dark”) and Joshua Lee (“Gangnam Project”) will recur as Praveena and Jin, respectively.

  • Choi Min-yeong will play “Dae.” (Past Credits: Dream Palace)
  • Anthony Keyvan will play “Q.” (Past Credits: Love, Victor, Genera+ion)
  • Introducing Gia Kim will play “Yuri.”
  • Introducing Sang Heon Lee will play “Min Ho.”
  • Peter Thurnwald will play “Alex.” (Past Credits: Players, BUMP)
  • Regan Aliyah  will play “Juliana.” (Past Credits: Club Mickey Mouse)

RECURRING CAST

  • Yunjin Kim will play “Jina.” (Past Credits: Lost, Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area)
  • Michael K Lee will play “Professor Lee.” (Past Credits: Stage Performances of Jesus Christ Superstar, Miss Saigon in South Korea)
  • Jocelyn Shelfo will play “Madison.” (Past Credits: The Summer I Turned Pretty, American Soul)

The series launched in May 2023 and was produced in Seoul, South Korea and is set around teen matchmaker Kitty who thinks she knows everything there is to know about love. But when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she’ll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line.

Katherine Song Covey, Kitty to her friends, is jetting off on her very own adventure. After ✨making things happen✨ for her sister Lara Jean, it’s time for Kitty to experience an epic story of her own. She’ll learn quickly that love is a lot harder when it’s your own heart on the line. Streaming May 18th, only on Netflix.
