Kareena Kapoor's Classic French Pesto

While she admits that she is a foodie, she is not someone who enjoys cooking. But in a YouTube video by TLC India, she once decided to bake pizza with pesto base to surprise her friends, and here's the recipe for classic French pesto that one can also try. istock

Ingredients required

3 cups basil leaves, 1/4 cup pine nuts, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup olive oil, and 1 teaspoon lemon zest istock

Wash and chop basil leaves and set them aside. istock

Now, add the leaves, pine nuts, and lemon zest to a blender and grind them into a paste. istock
