PROS: I love the ability to publish my sheets via hyperlink as” read only” file and use these reports for every updated information. When I update information it’s visible to other users immediately. Also, in case I need excel sheet I can download the information quickly. In addition, Smartsheet provides you with many other features such as: drag and drop (you can move rows around quickly), formatting feature is great, other users are allowed to edit the documents, enter data and add attachments. Also, there is a feature that helps you to organize your sheets by group or set of users. Mobile app and visibility is perfect.

CONS: I would love to see a demo of how to use SmartSheet at an enterprise level. Also, it would be great if they can implement more complex calculations within the software, like in Excel.

PROS: Smartsheet is easy to set up and easy to share, it has built-in calendar and Grantt views. It works great with Zapier and the API is clear and user-friendly. I’m using it in combination with Wufoo and I have to say that this saves me lot of time. This tool provides me with overview of the projects I’m working on.

CONS: The process of setting up notifications can be little clunky. Also, when I want to create equations it can be really complicated. Sometimes I use other product for task reminder/assigner because it tracks better than Smartsheet.

PROS: The best aspect for Smartsheet is the Automated workflow and the Dashboard which allows you to reduce a lot of manual work, Smartsheet dashboard can have multiple projects which allows you to identify any RedFlags in the project progress

CONS: Smartsheet sometimes hangs with high-size attachments and big data which takes much time in loading, so it needs to be faster

PROS: Smartsheet is the best tool to use when learning marketing automation. The more tools/features you're able to use in Smartsheet, the more convenient (and powerful) it becomes as you really can benefit from having "everything you need in one place". But as companies grow, it gets harder and harder to maintain that vision. I wish we could take advantage of all of the HubSpot Enterprise features we pay for but too many of our existing tools overlap with them and that's where the importance of reliable integrations come into play.

CONS: HubSpot has allowed us to streamline our marketing efforts so we can focus on what really matters. We've been able to automate so many mundane processes that we used to do manually thanks to HubSpot workflows. HubSpot's ease of use also makes training and transferring ownership/management of the tool more efficient.

PROS: The great thing about Smartsheet is that your whole team can work on the same sheet. They can change, update or edit the sheet and the notifications are spread immediately. You don’t need to download a software on your computer, because the platform is web-based. Also, admins are allowed to add new users.

CONS: It would be great if they can include more “options” similar to ones from Excel, for example graphing. Also they could make a downloadable software that would sync with this online version, because any disruption with internet may affect the product.

PROS: I like how simple and flexible this tool is, the UI has all the great segments form Microsoft but it doesn’t offer too many menu options that are mostly unnecessary. We can easily save and retrieve templates for various projects and the Gantt chart is visible to it allows to schedule and to complete the projects so we can present them to the stakeholders.

CONS: The UI sometimes is slow and unresponsive. Also, they could make the printing of Gantt charts more intuitive so we don’t have to end up with 20 pages printouts because the system wasn’t well coordinated.

PROS: My employees are allowed to have an access to Smartsheet and they can know where the project is. We don’t need to email/call our executives, because they can have an easy access to the project and the employees can work on it quickly. Also, they are allowed to see other working projects and what other members are doing and if they are ready for the next task. My employees can access the program from anywhere, because this product is web-based. Also, there is a free-version for those who don’t need tuning requirements.

CONS: If you are creator of the sheet be sure you set up the access levels, otherwise it will block other employees for making necessary changes or updates.

PROS: This tool allows me to create project plans and to share all of them with other members of the team, I can upload project plan in SmartSheet like I do in an Excel and this makes very easy to share the projects with others. There are lot of helpful features such as alert, updates, attachment and discussion that are great when interacting with others who work on the projects. Also, it allows us to keep track of other team’s progress.

CONS: This is great project management solution, I haven’t found something to dislike about it.

PROS: With Smartsheet you are able to share and assign tasks to others. As a manager you have great view of every employee and their tasks and progress, you can keep everyone on the team accountable. I love the due date option whenever we create some events. Also, the app provides you with notifications when something is added or changed.

CONS: For me, it is a little complex to use, looks like excel but there are lot of different functions. It would be great if there are basic lessons how to search.

PROS: I use SmartSheet to manage a development project for my clients, I’m allowed to add development tasks, milestones and projected timelines, and then I can share read-only version with my clients. There are many ways to review the shared version: sreadsheet view, gant chart chart view and calendar view. Smartsheet facilitates include images and attached files. All stakeholeders, users and developers are allowed to participate in the virtual discussions. This app provides you with color formatting option, so you can see items that are behind the schedule or at risk. Also, the export feature allows to export project plan or data from SmartSheet to Excel. The good thing is that creators are able to invite unlimited number of collaborators.

CONS: It would be great if there was a more intuitive method to set the hierarchical tasks and setting time between tasks. And, more intuitive way to increase hours to parent rows. If you are not careful when you add entries it can be very frustrated.

PROS: SmartSheet is simple tool with intuitive design that it makes the whole work more fun and productive. This tool combines every best aspect of Microsoft Excel including the ability to create complex formulas with options to share collaborative parts of Google Spreadsheets.

CONS: This current version doesn’t support track duration in hours, I’m trying to enter a fraction like 5days=4 hours but this tool plans as completed day. Also, the resource leveling is not available in the basic version. This tool cannot be used as replacement for Microsoft Project, but if you need team-based tool then it will meet your needs.

PROS: The spreadsheets that you are able to navigate on SmartSheets site offers you numerous options. You can easily share them with your team that are inside and outside of your organization or departments. Sometimes we put an Excel spreadsheet on a shared drive for some users that are within our organization but this could leave others behind.

CONS: The truth is that this tool offers formatting, functions and cell formatting functionality and it offers sharing with other users and control of who can do what with that spreadsheet but if you are searching for in-depth powerful spreadsheet tool then you could use Excel.

PROS: Smartsheet is great project management app and it is better than other available tools in the market. Once you learn how to use this tool you could use all its features so you can make your work fun. I personally like its web forms option because it’s much easier for me.

CONS: There are some things that I don’t like about this software but the biggest dislike goes to lack of autosave features, there are none! Also, they could re-design the left-screen menu so they could make it more intuitive.

PROS: SmartSheet provides full set of tools for PM and it is really useful tool even for complex development projects. Thanks to its sharing and discussions features I’m able to keep great communication with all my team members and key resources during the project. With Conditional Formatting you’ll get Customized WBS and Update Requests so you can stay on top of all delayed tasks and resources.

CONS: There is no feature for editing multiple lines, I really need this feature because it is time consuming when I have to update each task individually. The other important feature that it lacks is an option for creating basic workflow rules, it would be great if they could add this feature within Conditional Formatting or Functions tools.

PROS: I like how easily I can collaborate with other members that are inside and outside of the company. I don’t have to email others or to send them docs, because this tool allows easy sharing features so we can share one sheet at a time, we can easily add or remove users.

CONS: To speak the truth, SS doesn’t offer high-quality dashboard report, it would be great if I could share with the management and to provide them with the status of all projects and even members who are assigned to every project. It would be great when the status updates are automatically feed into the dashboard.

PROS: I love that my whole team can have an access to all the tasks that need to be completed, smartsheet allows us to attach documents instead of emailing them. This app keeps our priority first, and we are able to view all the tasks and which deadlines are close. It is great app, because we can have discussions between my team members, and updates can be attached to each task.

CONS: It would be great if there was a notification when a deadline is getting close. Yes, the color of the text is changing but I need to check it every day otherwise I could miss it. Also, I love to see specific notification when someone made a change, I would like to see what they've changed.

PROS: I love the ability to publish my sheets via hyperlink as” read only” file and use these reports for every updated information. When I update information it’s visible to other users immediately. Also, in case I need excel sheet I can download the information quickly. In addition, Smartsheet provides you with many other features such as: drag and drop (you can move rows around quickly), formatting feature is great, other users are allowed to edit the documents, enter data and add attachments. Also, there is a feature that helps you to organize your sheets by group or set of users. Mobile app and visibility is perfect.

CONS: I would love to see a demo of how to use SmartSheet at an enterprise level. Also, it would be great if they can implement more complex calculations within the software, like in Excel.

PROS: Smartsheet gives me the ability to view the basic high-level outline of a project to the most detailed outline of the same project, this is because I can create hierarchical organization in a spreadsheet. I can easily move rows up and down and the other sub rows come along. Because it is cloud based program, I can review my projects and data from any computer or device.

CONS: I can’t format words or phrases in a cell, also there is not option for numbering or bullets.
