Today, live at the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP Global)'s AFP ICON 2024, we released the latest report for the Fundraising Effectiveness Project (FEP)! 📣 You can read the full report here: https://lnkd.in/eaZ9pge This Q4 2023 FEP report takes a look at fundraising metrics in the US through the critical end-of-year giving season. While year-end remained a busy giving season in the US, FEP Q4 2023 acutely shows the growing challenge for American nonprofits: a near-universal decline in fundraising metrics, including dollars raised, donor counts, and retention when compared to 2022. But, there are bright spots too: the number of new donors rose year-over-year, the first time new donor counts have risen since Q1 2021. And, despite these downward trends, small organizations showed the highest resilience, achieving some fundraising stability year-over-year. Read the full report to find out all the latest trends in fundraising in the US, and check out our blog post (https://lnkd.in/ejKrpQ6i) to find key insights from Mike Geiger, MBA, CPA, President and CEO of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy, Lauren Sheehan, President of DonorPerfect, and Woodrow Rosenbaum, Chief Data Officer at GivingTuesday, on how the sector can achieve stability and growth in 2024.
