Taxonomic note
Arachnothera affinis and A. modesta (del Hoyo and Collar 2016) were previously lumped as A. affinis following Sibley & Monroe (1990, 1993). A. everetti was previously split following Sibley & Monroe (1990, 1993) but is now lumped with A. affinis (del Hoyo and Collar 2016)
