Woman injured in Stockholm attack dies in hospital
A 60-year-old woman injured in the terror attack on central Stockholm has died in hospital, Swedish police said in a statement on Friday morning.
Five people have now died in the April 7 attack. The other four included an 11-year-old Swedish girl, a Swedish woman, a 41-year-old British man, and a 31-year-old woman from Belgium.
Uzbek national Rakhmat Akilov has confessed to mowing down pedestrians on Drottninggatan, Stockholm's busiest shopping street, in a truck he had hijacked.
Fifteen people were hospitalised and three killed in the attack. The woman is the second to have died of injuries in hospital.
