The councilor and spokesperson for VOX in the Valencia City Council, Pepe Gosálbez, has attended the solemn ceremony of delivery of the King Jaime I Awards 2020 which was attended by Her Majesty the Queen Letizia. The Queen has addressed her words to the protagonists of the Awards: “You are the example of how research, science, technology and entrepreneurship are, to a large extent, the way that provides us, as a society, with the essential tools to face challenges like those that the pandemic has put on the table.
Doña Letizia also praised the Rey Jaime I Awards: «They embody the decision and seriousness of Spanish society and its commitment to improve and overcome the difficulties we are in due to the pandemic. The talent, effort and generosity of our winners are proof that we are capable of projecting a modern, supportive and strong Spain ”.
The event was held in the Lonja de Valencia, where they have been awarded Francisco Jose Garcia Vidal in Basic Research; Diego Puga Small in Economics; Miguel Beato del Rosal is Medical Research; Fernando Maestre Gil in Environmental Protection; Laura M. Lechuga Gómez in New Technologies; Y Veronica Pascual Boé the Entrepreneur have received from the hand of Queen Letizia the medal that accredits them as winners of their respective categories.
