The Nasamax DM139 is heavily based upon the Reynard 2KQLM and is the first prototype modified to the new LMP1 regulations.  Kieron Salter, designer of the DM139 (and Design Director for the Reynard 2KQ, 01Q, and 02S as well as the former Technical Manager of Reynard Special Vehicle Projects), was kind enough to answer our questions regarding the car's development and his comments are interspersed throughout.
