5th September 2010

Follow Sarah's blog as she cycles to every away game in 2010/11 in aid of the Football Development Fund. Be sure to signup and make your pledge and help us make the Football Development Plan a reality.

"People keep asking me "why are you doing this?" or, more straighforwardly, simply telling me that I'm mad. Maybe I am, because the truth is that I have always kind of wanted to do this. I have been a home-and-away fan for several years, and this season I just thought I'd do something a bit different. I'm a keen cyclist, but don't get much time to do anything interesting with it. Cycling to all our away matches in a season seemed challenging enough to really test me, but also a fun way of keeping fit and raising money for the club! And it is going to be really, really tough...but hopefully I can do it, and hopefully in doing so I can raise enough money to make a contribution to the FDP that we can all be proud of."

Exciting Sponsorship opportunity

Get involved with SUFC Gambia.

But it goes further than that, because the story would undoubtedly find its way into national and regional newspapers and perhaps TV, and now is the time to try as the U's are in the public eye after reaching the First Round of the Cup. Of course, if you are a company that has business dealings with The Gambia then it could be especially attractive.More...
