Eligibility for the GivingTuesday match
Any eligible US-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations may have donations made on Facebook matched. This includes both organizations that have enrolled to receive payouts through Facebook's fundraising platform and nonprofits that receive money from donations through Network for Good. See more information in the Giving Tuesday Donation Match Program Terms.

To see if donations to your organization were matched
We’ll start letting nonprofits know if they were matched on GivingTuesday in mid-January 2020. If your organization is enrolled with Facebook Payments, your organization's Facebook Page admins can find information about the match by the following:
  1. Using a computer, go to your organization’s Page.
  2. Click Settings in the upper right.
  3. Click Donations in the lower left sidebar.
  4. Once available, you’ll see your GivingTuesday Match Report with the amount of money matched.
Once the match amount is finalized, Page admins for your organization will also receive a notification on Facebook alerting them to the total matched to your organization on GivingTuesday. You’ll only receive this notification if donations to your organization were matched.
Please note that nonprofits who are paid out through Network for Good will receive money starting in late February if they've received a match. Organizations can also reach out to Facebook starting in mid-January to find out if they were matched.
Payouts from GivingTuesday donations
If donations to your organization were matched during GivingTuesday, you’ll be able to see the amount matched starting in January 2020. You may receive money from donations in two different payouts:
  • Donor contributions are paid out the same way your organization typically receives donations, either through Facebook Payments or through Network for Good's Donor Advised Fund.
  • Matching donations from Facebook are paid out through Network for Good starting in late February 2020.
Find out more about the timeline for payouts. Learn how to receive electronic payments from Network for Good instead of a mailed check to the address listed in GuideStar.
