Sarah Cooper and Jeffrey Palm

Sarah Anne Cooper and Jeffrey de Blanc Palm were married Wednesday at the Manhattan Marriage Bureau by Angel L. Lopez of the New York City Clerk’s office. On Feb. 7, Pastor Cory Casterton, who was ordained through the Elim Fellowship in Lima, N.Y., led another ceremony on the beach at La Concha Resort in San Juan, P.R.

Mrs. Palm, 37, works in New York as the chief designer of Parodify.com, a mobile and web app that helps comedians write about current events. She also writes satire on TheCooperReview.com, her website. She graduated from the University of Maryland and received a master’s degree in digital design from Georgia Tech.

She is a daughter of Jennifer P. Cooper and Lance G. Cooper of Wellington, Fla. The bride’s father retired as an electrical engineer in Washington for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.

Mr. Palm, 35, works in New York as a senior software designer for Google. He graduated from the University of Florida and received a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Colorado.

He is a son of Susan D. Palm and Clarence H. Palm of New Orleans. The groom’s mother retired as a laboratory technologist at Memorial Hospital there. His father, an architect, is the director of specifications at Mathes Brierre Architecture in New Orleans.
