One down, two to go
FT: Brentford 2-0 Swansea
That's as far as we go in here on a historic day for Brentford.
The Bees will become the 50th team to play in the Premier League when the new season starts in August after a comprehensive win over Swansea.
Goals from Ivan Toney and Emiliano Marcondes made it 10th time lucky in the play-offs for the west London club.
We'll be back tomorrow with live coverage of the League One play-off final between Blackpool and Lincoln City so please join us again then.
Thanks for your company and contributions today and finally...
Congratulations Brentford!
I broke down in tears - Jensen
FT: Brentford 2-0 Swansea
Brentford midfielder Mathias Jensen speaking to Sky Sports:
"I broke down in tears. I couldn't even celebrate.
"After last season, having only 10 days off, and then having injuries to important players all season...
"I knew that the play-off record wasn't good but it wasn't a focus for us.
"We were focussed on winning the game and we had a really good feeling after beating Bournemouth."
The celebrations begin
FT: Brentford 2-0 Swansea
Brentford are a top-flight club for the first time in 74 years and it seems safe to say that anyone of a Brentford persuasion is in for a good evening... and possibly quite a rough morning tomorrow!
'What a journey'
FT: Brentford 2-0 Swansea
Jed Wallace
Millwall midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live
What a journey for Brentford, to get to where they are are. They will look to keep hold of their best players.
I'm gutted for the Swansea lads, as long as they keep hold of Steve Cooper they should be up there again next season.
Frank interview interrupted for celebrations
FT: Brentford 2-0 Swansea
Brentford boss Thomas Frank speaking to Sky Sports:
"I'm completely empty right now. I don't know if I can describe it. It's been such a long journey.
"There's been ups and downs..."
And with that Frank is carried away by some of his players and thrown in the air!
"This group of players is incredible.
"Everyone has played a major part in this.
"Somebody said to me that we need two hands and 10 fingers to lift the trophy and we have done it on our 10th attempt.
"The feeling was calm and relaxed and ready to be ruthless.
"We didn't talk about last year. We focused on this.
"Right now I want to get drunk and then worry about the Premier League tomorrow!"
'The play-off agony is finally over'

Alistair Bruce-Ball
BBC Radio 5 Live commentator
The celebrations have begun. The Brentford fans are drenched in glorious Wembley sunshine. The play-off agony for Brentford is finally over!
They have built from last year, they've come back and they've got the job done today. You can see the smiles, the tears of joy.
Marcondes hopes for new Bees deal
FT: Brentford 2-0 Swansea
Brentford midfielder Emiliano Marcondes is out of contract at the end of next month and says he has not been offered a new one yet.
He scored their second goal today and is keen to test himself in the Premier League.
"To come from a small town in Denmark and make it to the Premier League is unbelievable," he told Sky Sports.
"When the owner gets something to drink maybe I'll ask about a contract again!"
Benham in thick of celebrations
FT: Brentford 2-0 Swansea
Rob Stevens
BBC Sport at Wembley
Brentford's players paraded the play-off final trophy to their fans as their supporters threw social distancing out of the window and sung along to the Beatles hit Hey Jude.
Bees owner Matthew Benham is down on the Wembley turf amid the celebrations.
What a debt the club owe to him.
Since taking over the running of the club from Bees United - the club's supporters' trust - in 2012, Brentford have been transformed.
He's introducing a 'Moneyball' recruitment policy, bankrolled a new stadium near Kew Bridge and thought outside the box for coaching appointments.
Now a place in the Premier League for the first time awaits.
'It will be an interesting summer for Swansea'
FT: Brentford 2-0 Swansea
Jed Wallace
Millwall midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live
Steve Cooper has done a brilliant job in the last two years. Swansea haven't spent a lot of money. It will be interesting for me to see how they will look next season, will Ayew be there? They have a couple of players who are coming to the end of their careers. They certainly have the core there, but it will be an interesting summer for them.
I'm a Premier League striker - Toney
FT: Brentford 2-0 Swansea
Brentford goalscorer Ivan Toney speaking to Sky Sports:
"It's crazy. I've got no words, my voice is going.
"It's the best dressing room I've been in, I've loved every minute of it.
"I'm in the Premier League with the best bunch of boys I could ever dream of.
"I'm a Premier League striker now and I can't wait to score goals there."
Last time around
How Brentford fared last time out in the top flight...
Fans of both the Bees and Leeds will be hoping next season doesn't play out like this.
Come in number 50...
FT: Brentford 2-0 Swansea
Pontus Jansson lifts the play-off trophy aloft and the celebrations really begin.
Brentford will be the 50th team to play in the Premier League and the first new one to the league since Brighton and Huddersfield went up in 2017.
What next for beaten Swans?
FT: Brentford 2-0 Swansea
Andre Ayew scored 19 goals for Swansea this season but his contract is up this summer and he's on BIG wages.
He'll almost certainly be off and the three loanees who started today's game all have time left on their deals at their parent clubs and are unlikely to return.

The Brentford players celebrate in a big circle midway inside their half.
Then there are cheers as individual players run towards their fans.
Fair play to the Swansea supporters, how have stayed until the bitter end to applaud their side for their efforts.
The Welsh club had a difficult afternoon, and never really looked capable of a comeback from 2-0 down even before Jay Fulton's red card.
The stage is now being set for Brentford's trophy presentation.

'I'm dying to see Brentford in the Premier League'
FT: Brentford 2-0 Seansea
Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live
A lot of us love the way Brentford have played this season. I'm dying to see them in the Premier League.
We're finally there - Jansson
FT: Brentford 2-0 Swansea
Brentford defender Pontus Jansson speaking to Sky Sports:
"It's unbelievable, I'm so proud.
"It's been a hard year but we're finally there.
"This year we had a very strong group and we believed in it from day one.
"A lot Leeds fans have been behind me and all of Brentford this season.
"I could go home to Sweden and retire no as this is what I have dreamed of. I wont though!
"A lot of people questioned my move here but I saw something in Brentford and I brought things here that I learned from Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds. I brought his ideas here with me."
Brentford are going to be on Match of the Day...

What a job Thomas Frank has done
FT: Brentford 2-0 Swansea

Finally, at the 10th attempt, Brentford have won promotion through the EFL play-offs.
Nine months on from a extra-time defeat by Fulham, the Bees have returned to Wembley to seal promotion.
The west London club join a select group of clubs who have lost a second-tier play-off final but won it the next, joining Leicester (1994), Crystal Palace (1997) West Ham (2005) and Aston Villa (2019).
What a job head coach Thomas Frank has done to lead Brentford back to the national stadium and see his side put in the performance they failed to last August.
He becomes the first Danish boss to win promotion to the Premier League.
Their supporters had become accustomed used to heart-break in the play-offs. This result will be celebrated in the famous four pubs which surround their old Griffin Park home, along with several other hostelries in that part of the capital.
BreakingFULL-TIME
Brentford 2-0 Swansea
BRENTFORD ARE A PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THEIR HISTORY!
At the 10th time of asking they have gone up through the play-offs and it is richly deserved.
Two first-half goals from Ivan Toney and Emiliano Marcondes have done the job.
The Swans had Jay Fulton sent off in the second half after an unfortunate challenge that looked far worse on first viewing than replays showed it to be.
It will be the Championship for the Welsh side again next season.
