For whole of December, Sky Screen 2 will be rebranded Sky Movies Christmas Channel

Sky Movies is to launch its first dedicated Christmas Channel with full "box set" seasons of the Back to the Future, Indiana Jones and Home Alone franchises.

From Tuesday, 1 December, Sky Screen 2 will be rebranded Sky Movies Christmas Channel, alongside a Sky Movies Christmas Channel HD, for the entire month.

Viewers will be able to vote on which films they would most like to see on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, and some will be chosen to record a festive message to be broadcast before their favourite movie.

Other shows which will feature on the Sky Movies Christmas Channel include The Italian Job, The Muppet Christmas Carol, The Grinch, Fred Claus and Kung Fu Panda.
