Codenames for the Motorola Moto G6, G6 Play, and the G6 Plus surfaced earlier today, and now we have some exclusive Moto G6 Plus info to share with you. The image above shows all of the launch color variants of the Moto G6 Plus that will be announced by Motorola later this year. The render also confirms the overall design of the phone which already surfaced a couple of times so far.

The Moto G6 Plus will launch in Silver, Gold, White, Blue and Cyan color variants, based on the info that was provided to us. The device will be made of metal and glass, while the back side of the phone will be curved. A dual-camera setup will be available on the back of the device, and a dual-LED flash resides right below the two cameras. All of the sensors will protrude a bit, it seems, and they will be part of the phone’s ‘camera oreo’ platform which is easily noticeable and is a design that Motorola has been pushing for quite some time now. A fingerprint scanner will be included on the front side of the phone, right below the phone’s display and Motorola’s branding. The display of the Moto G6 Plus will sport rounded corners, while the phone will not exactly ship with the thinnest bezels around, but they won’t be that thick either, with the overall design of the handset resembling the Moto X4 to an extent.

The Moto G6 Plus is rumored to ship with a display which will offer an 18:9 aspect ratio, while the phone will probably be fueled by the Snapdragon 630 64-bit octa-core processor. A 3,250mAh non-removable battery will also be part of the package, if rumors are to be believed, while Android 8.0 Oreo will come pre-installed on the phone. The Moto G6 Plus will utilize on-screen navigation buttons, and it seems like its power, volume up, and volume down keys will all be located on the right. The Moto G6 Plus should launch along with the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play and will possibly be introduced at next week’s MWC as the Moto G5 lineup was announced at the same trade show last year.
