No, the map on the app can not be edited. The map only shows Cleaning Area and Cleaning Time. After the cleaning is finished, the map can not be used for the next cleaning.

No, the G30 Hybrid model is not compatible with a self-empty station. If a self-empty station is an essential requirement for your cleaning preferences, we recommend opting for the G30+ model.

Terrible compared to the 11s: Update 1-4-2024
Update: Almost 3 months of ownership.Eufy reached out unprompted and offered to replace this vac, which I gladly accepted. Due to their excellent customer service I have increased my rating from 1 to 2. I own many eufy products, this one just wasn't up to the past performances I've experienced.The one thing this did do well at was clean carpet, when it wasn't throwing errors for my boundary strips/vents or fireplace. My hardwood floors and tile it really struggled with and after the 2nd firmware upgrade, it finally stopped giving the "Error 64: Dust container not insert" and became better at finding the base to charge. Not 100% but definitely a marked improvement.I'm still nowhere near pleased enough to keep it. I cuss at it repeatedly throughout the day, my wife and in-laws now simply ignore it when it gets stuck. I have already had to assist it twice today while writing this edit.....3rd just hit. \sigh AND IT'S THE SAME VENT!I'm really hoping the next one is better.Pros:Self-emptyCons: Pretty much everything else.Mapping: The mapping function is nice as you can see where the robot has been and if it runs out of battery before it finishes cleaning, it will pick back up from relatively close to where it left off (most of the time). However when the battery is depleted, it bounces around the house looking for the charger just like the previous models. Even though the charger location is on the map that the robot created, the robot apparently doesn't know where that is and bounces around for 5 mins or so looking for it. Due to my house not being an open floor plan, it rarely makes it back to the charger on its own, roughly 85% of the time, I have to move it to the charger myself. Meaning that unless I assist it to the charger, it's not going to recharge and not finish the cleaning. The rooms I have it cleaning total roughly 1000sq ft.Detection: It often gets hung up on the stone lip for our fireplace and air ducts. I bought the magnetic barrier strips but it would drive over them and then get hung up anyway, thereby throwing an error. As seen in the photo, I then placed the duct covers under the rug trying to eliminate the hangups, but now when it drives over the strip it stops saying "Error 9: Magnetic Boundary Strip Detected" and then I have to move it ANYWAY! If anything, buying the barrier strips have made this problem worse. You can't set boundaries in the app and the expensive magnetic strips only cause it to error out meaning you have to move the device anyway, making it a continued hassle despite the added expense of the boundary strips. I have noticed that when you have to move it, it gets confused and will often go back and get hung up in the same place regardless if you move it 1 inch or 1 foot. If you move it too many times or it encounters too many obstacles in a small place, it can't reconcile that and it's little computer brain will create a boundary in between those obstacles and will run back and forth in that small window (2ft to 4ft) until the battery dies. I have a large round kitchen table with 6 chairs, the chairs will cause the confusion as it will get between two of them, establish a sold barrier in it's program and then stay inside of that barrier it created itself.Error messaging: Every few feet it pronounces "Error 64: Yada Yada Yada (Can't understand what it's saying) Something not insert". Only thing I can find says to remove and empty the dust collector which is emptied with the self-empty system but even after removing it to refill the water tank (daily anyway), it continually says the same thing. Now every time it gets stuck, whether it's stuck on a vent, magnetic barrier, ran over a chord or sock, stuck under a dresser, etc. I get notifications on my phone. Several a day if I'm home to move it. I don't think I've gotten through a cleaning yet that I haven't had to move it multiple times and received multiple notifications.Mopping: Does an OK job for the roughly 400sq ft that you will get out of a tank but you have to refill it every time you want to use it. If I wanted to remove the tank/dust collector everyday I would have stuck with a non-self empty system. If you don't remove the tank and refill it, you get error messages in the app saying the water tank is empty.Conclusion: I replaced (2) 11s vacuums with the Eufy G20 and this G20 Hybrid system as the almost 2 year old 11's were having problems of their own. In hindsight I probably should have purchased 2 new 11's on Prime day instead of these G20s. All the new or improved features on these G20s have either been of little to no use or complete failures and have made any of the issues I experienced with the 11s a dream in comparison to these two g20s. The 11s would clean the floors and return to their chargers daily, a far cry better than what I can say for these.

I love my eufy. She is so cute small and not loud at all! My mom has another eufy but this one is more high tech. This one DOES NOT BEEP which is very nice if you have sensitive animals. My moms dog freaks out about the beeping but this one just speaks to you. I like the suction, it has three modes so it does get a bit louder. The wheels are heavy duty. It is smart and knows where it is going, you can use the app. This also has the mop which is okay, I would only do my bathroom not whole house since you cant control where the carpet is. It just kind of wipes the floor doesnt actually mop. Also it comes with these border strips that can stop it from going where you dont want it but the adhesive doesnt really work. Other than that it really helps get that dust and little crumbs up each week so you dont have to vaccum often! Eufy is a great brand.

If you have been debating getting one, just do it. I have 2 dogs, one being a Husky, and I used to have to vacuum daily, if not 2 times a day. I have not seen one dog hair tumbleweed since buying this robo vacuum. I just have it on a schedule to run mid-day, daily. My house is mostly tile, with a few rugs. It does perfect on the tile, and good on the carpet, despite the excessive amount of hair it has to keep up with. Now I only need to vacuum myself every 3-4 days just to get cracks and freshen up the carpet.
I will say, the brushes do need cleaned out every 3-4 days, which to me is a perfectly fair trade off to vacuuming myself daily. However, if you do not have pets you won't have to do it as often.
The only downside I have thought of yet is the self-emptying bags, a reusable option would be nice.
*I don't really utilize the mop function. I have played with it a few times here and there, but with having so much tile the little robo doesn't hold near enough water to complete the whole home without needing to refill it 2-3 times. It's more of a "floor refresher" for a few days after you mop yourself good, it doesn't really "clean" it.

The eufy looks as described in the advertising. It is easy to start up and begin using. The suction has varied levels and works good. Every time I use it, the catch is full of dog hair, which is why I purchased it. The unit had a difficult time initially finding my internet service. I had to sit with it right next to the modem for it to be able to find it. Once it connected, it has been fine all around the house. The app comes with a mapping function but I am not sure why this is included. The map is lost and restarted with each new time it is set to clean. It would be nice if the map remained and you could send the unit to specific locations in the house. The unit never cleans in the same way twice. It leaves the docking station and then methodically makes its way back and forth until it hits a wide open area. Sometimes it travels to the bedroom and sometimes it travels to the Livingroom or dining room. There doesn't seem to be reason for the selected direction. The lack of mapping paired with the inconsistent selection of next areas to be cleaned leaves gaps in rooms and areas that are cleaned. It does have a remote control option that permits the unit to be remoted to specific areas and rooms. You do not select a room to remote it to, you must drive it there like a remote control toy. When you hit clean in the new room it will attempt to travel back to the last known location. If you want it to clean a specific room you need to set it to spot clean (hand place or remote guide) in a specific room and then hit clean. This confuses the unit and it will begin going back and forth in the room set to spot clean. If you are looking for a budget robo vacuum with good suction, this is a good option. However, if you have your heart set on being able to have your entire home mapped so you can schedule cleaning in specific rooms at specific times, this is not the unit for you.

This is my first Amazon review, sadly it's a negative one.
I bought this is July on Prime day special. I was excited to get it. The vacuum worked fantastic the first few days even attempting to clean our entire house after it would rest and recharge. I had bought it to only clean on portion of our house knowing it was not big enough to clean the whole house. The first week the vacuum would clean the areas like a champ and then recharge and clean the other portion of our house on it's second run. After about two weeks it started only cleaning the one side and not going back out. I cleaned the bot every time it ran faithfully and made sure check the app often for cleaning suggestions. In December the bot disappeared and didn't return to the base. We found it and returned it and thought maybe it had gotten stuck but then it started happening every time it went out. Now it will charge for a full two days and only run for 4 mins (I times it today). I can't return to Amazon and have contacted the seller with no response as to how I can return or get a new battery for my bot. I am not happy with this purchase at all. I am saddened because I did love the convivence and job it preformed when it was working. I have friends that have this brand and are very happy with it. I wish the company would follow through and back up their product. I understand I could have a defective battery but it would be nice to be able to troubleshoot with someone.

I bought a Eufy vacuum (the 11S) about 4 years ago. I loved it. I have two long haired cats so it is definitely needed around our house. Recently, I saw that Eufy had created the Hybrid vacuum, and having very dark hardwood floors means EVERYTHING makes them look dirty. The second you walk on it, you see footprints. I thought this vacuum would be great. I ended up calling Eufy for some help and guidance and spoke to Britney. She was WONDERFUL. We had a great chat and I asked her about her experience with the vacuum. She was incredibly helpful and helped me choose the correct vacuum for me. My vacuum came in 3 days (thank you Amazon prime) and I put my old vacuum in the basement to do the carpet floors down there, and my new vacuum on the main floor. I love being able to turn it on with my phone, and after one vacuum cycle I looked at the map it created of my main floor and it was SPOT ON. I love how the new vacuum doesn't just go around randomly but instead goes back and forth like cutting grass. This means it doesn't miss any spots. After I did the initial vacuum I wanted to try out the mopping. Like others have mentioned, it doesn't scrub or clean really dirty spots, but it is PERFECT for our dark floors as it wipes up all of the foot prints from my family and cats. It also vacuums at the same time that it's mopping, which is great. As soon as it was done and back home, I looked around and it looked like I had spent a lot of time cleaning. This new vacuum has saved me so much time on my cleaning days.

Eufy is surprisingly easy to use. We set up schedules to have it do timely cleaning. It gives us confidence on how clean the house is now. And no longer we need to working hard with the heavy hand held vacuum cleaner.

We regretted that we bought it so late. We should have got it much earlier.

Recently the water tank for mopping cracked open. I wrote an email to see if they can replace the mopping water tank, otherwise I'd clue it up by myself. To my surprise, the customer service said they'll ship me a whole new one to replace it, because there is a shortage in parts supply.

I sent my request on 11th. They replied on 12th. I sent my previous machine to their Montreal office on 13th. On the 18th, I got a complete new machine, working perfectly, cleaning and mopping. What an exceptional service, compared to so many companies.

Highly recommend this and enjoy a cleaning home.

We were hesitating to get this G30 Hybrid in May at first. Not sure if the robot vacuum technology has improved, since many years ago we had some not so good experience with the very first product (different brand). It was just too much maintenance to use.

I have been using this product on a daily basis for past 1 year. This is not a replacement for your house help/bai. This is not as efficient as our regular sweeping/mopping, but it does remove the fine dust from places where we neglect during manual sweep/mopping like under the bed/sofa etc.

The mopping facility is totally unusable. It just spreads the dirt everywhere. In situations where you cannot get a househelp or cannot do manual cleaning this helps. Probably this does not fit indian households
