Kilmarnock sign midfielder Scott Evans and Kieran Agard

Kilmarnock

Kilmarnock have signed midfielder Scott Evans from Welsh side Llanelli.

He has agreed a two-and-a-half year deal after impressing manager Mixu Paatelainen on trial.

The 21-year-old midfielder began his career at Manchester City where he played in the reserve team, and was capped for Wales at Under-17 level.

Evans signed for his home team Swansea in 2007, before going out on loan to Port Talbot Town. He moved to Llanelli last August after being released.

The Ayrshire club have also signed Kieran Agard on loan from Everton.

The 21-year-old London-born striker had initially planned to leave Merseyside for Peterborough on loan, but Gary Johnson's departure as manager of the League One club meant Agard was no longer part of their plans.
