Pacey forward who causes panic in defences with his trickery and speed of thought and feet.
Schooled at the Arsenal academy, he's a born and bred Londoner, he left the Emirates club in 2005 to join Everton, turning down the advances of Tottenham Hotspur after deciding he wanted to move on from the Gunners set up.
Although he hasn't played for England at youth level he has been around the squads, and has also attracted interest from Jamaica, his parents are from the Caribbean island, so has the choice of nationalities if international football is forthcoming.
After joining the Toffee's he scored a hatful of goals for the U18's progressing to the reserve side where he continued his goalscoring run throughout 2007/8. His academy contribution was noticed at the end of that season when he was give the Keith Tamlin award for contribution to the Everton academy both on and off the field.
That prompted his first taste of first team football when he played in a host of pre-season friendlies for the 2008/9 season, including on the clubs tour of Switzerland, and made the bench for the first two games of the Premier League season.
Although, frustratingly, he didn't make his debut in 2008/9, he did sit on the bench numerous other times whilst he netted time and again for the reserves and was rewarded with the reserve player of the season award and then the much anticipated two-year professional contract was awarded at the end of the season.
Agard's Toffee's debut finally arrived in September 2009 when he came off the bench in Everton's Carling Cup tie at Hull and made his Premier League debut against Chelsea before his first Everton start, a Europa League tie against BATE Borislov.
He returned to the reserves for the remainder of 2009/10 and attracted the interest of Scottish Premier League side Hearts, who wanted the hitman on loan, but David Moyes wanted to keep him around the club and wouldn't sanction the move.
