Rotherham United star Kieran Agard has turned down the offer of a contract extension.
Agard was due to be out of contract this summer, but Rotherham exercised the option they had on the 24-year-old.
At the same time Rotherham had been in talks over extending his deal in the long-term, but Agard has now rejected the terms on offer.
Agard was one of the stars of Steve Evans's promotion-winning side, finishing as one of the top-scorers in League One with 21 goals to his name.
But now now his future at the New York Stadium is far from certain, although he has not requested a transfer at this point.
His agent Lee Payne of Full Contact told Sky Sports: "We can confirm that Kieran has rejected Rotherham's offer of a contract extension."
