The PhunkeeDuck—a futuristic skateboard-Segway hybrid—allows users to wheel around at up to 12 miles per hour with little to no effort, making it the new go-to gadget among celebrities. The handy little device has attracted musicians, athletes, and models alike, from John Legend (who opted for the sunny yellow version):

Sporting an ultra-compact, hands-free frame, the 18-lb. portable transporter can support up to 300 pounds and last six to seven hours, or roughly 10 miles, on a single full charge (which requires two to three hours).

Take into consideration the $250-off (plus free shipping) promotion currently going on, however, and it's a far better deal than competing brand IO Hawk's heavier $1,799 model (which has a top speed of six miles per hour and max load of 265 pounds).
