On Thursday, 26 March, and Friday, 27 March, copious amounts of Aviv [ripening ears of barley] were found in various places in the Land of Israel, making this Hodesh HaAviv. Leil Pesah occurred on Friday night, 10 April, and Sunday, 12 April was Yom Hanafat Ha‘Omer on which we began the counting of fifty days to Hagh HaShavu‘ot. Yom Shevi‘i ‘Aseret of Hagh HaMassot is Friday, 17 April.
