Vendor Opportunities

The North Ward claims many beautiful landmarks . It is home to one of our nation's premier county parks, Branch Brook Park which is known for its annual Cherry Blossom Festival.  This ward also is known for its two signature neighborhoods, Forest Hills and Roseville. It is home to roughly 55,000 residents. It represents a cross-section of America, with a mix of Italian-Americans, African-Americans, Puerto Ricans, and immigrants from the Caribbean and Latin America.  The North Ward is represented by Council Member Anibal Ramos Jr.

There are 14 public schools, four fire stations, one police station, three branch libraries, and two daycare centers, as well as numerous senior citizen and other cultural centers. The North Ward also boasts the North Ward Center, originally the North Ward Educational and Cultural Center, which was founded in 1970 by Steve Adubato, a Newark schoolteacher and community leader. Today it provides educational, cultural, and social services to low- and moderate-income families residing in the greater Newark community.
