AHF Chairman Richard Blum reaches the summit... of his Mt. Everest birthday cake.

 

AHF Chairman Richard Blum (heavy with khata) welcomes Vice President Al Gore to the stage.

 

A few of the partygoers: Norbu Tenzing Norgay (AHF VP), Iwana Tenzing, Lhakpa Gelu Sherpa (Speed record holder for climbing Mt. Everest), Sen. Diane Feinstein, and Lhakpa Rita Sherpa (14 successful climbs of Mt. Everest)!

Thanks to everyone who came out to AHF's Infamous Annual Dinner on October 11 for a Special Celebration: Chairman Richard's 75th Birthday!

Our friends and partners came from around the world: Vice President Al Gore shared his passion for the planet; Aruna Uprety her determination to stop girl trafficking in Nepal; and Luigi Fieni his rescue of astonishing 15th century Tibetan wall paintings.

All proceeds from the party will directly, materially help the people of the Himalayas.

Thanks for making it such a special evening.
