Lunch Actually is the brainchild of co-founder Violet Lim, lawyer turned banker turned matchmaker, who was inspired to help single professionals find love over simple lunch dates. Together with her husband, Jamie Lee, they launched Lunch Actually in Singapore in 2004, followed by Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Thailand.

Nice feature
My matches are shown on the app, I can read his profile and hobbies. Quite good, then I just reply on the app to accept the match. Easy and fast
Unresponsive in the App
Supposed to have a scheduled lunch appt last month, but requested to reschedule 4 days prior to the appt date via the Chat in App, but was not responsive. Follow-up with calls (no one answer the calls during working hrs), then follow up via the sms which I recd from about the appt schedule then a day before just gotten reply. And I was told that to request rescheduling via Chat in App or call directly will be more efficient (well I did but my requests were not attended).
Then, on 2/Apr, I got contacted by the Consultant via Chat in the App, asked about which dates will be available for rescheduling, I provided 3 dates on 2/Apr unfortunately I don’t not receive any acknowledgment from the Consultant about my proposed dates till today.
I personally feel that it could give a bad impression to the match, or others whom also have same experience like me, are disappointed as we believed LA could be a trusted platform.
